yeah, chamber is a pain in the arse fight. chambers is an excellent boxer, but it's more of a technical fight, trying to ge through the defense of chambers. if it ever happens, estrada will have been a good preparation. but adamek - after winning on HBO - does not need this kind of fight.

perhaps peter is a good idea, after all. we can compare adamek's performance with vitali's - again. (taking account of their weight differences, of course.) arreola and peter are probably vitali's 2 biggest wins. i'd rather see adamek v big guys like peter than small, pesky guys like chambers.

Adamek is #4 in the HW division according to The Ring.

I'd question the expertise of any such "experts". That's BS, bluffing, or wishful thinking on the parts of Brits (or Klitschko haters).

Either Klit, even the inferior Vitali, will be able to take anything a blown up LHW/CW can throw at them - be it Haye or Adamek. Adamek can definitely win a world title if he targets Haye and Haye alone. Given how much leather the unskilled Arreola touched his cheen with, going up against either Ukrainian would be a suicide mission.

Yeah, I really don't see him winning against a Klitschko. In order to do that he'd have to fight with amazing heart. Getting around their jab would be EXTREMELY difficult for Tomasz. He'd have to keep his head moving a lot, and target the body a lot. Only way I see him actually winning is by fighting a similar fight to the Arreola fight. Moving backwards, SIDEWAYS is really important because if you can't jab someone if you're turning, and then lunge in with body shots while the Klitschko is turning and off guard. Keep doing it all night, moving, turning, body shots.. and some uppercuts.

But I don't see it happening. The Klitschko's have the gayest style possible. If someone is going to attack them they jump backwards. Otherwise they range find with that jab all night and pump straight rights, which is something Adamek is not so good at dodging.

I can see Adamek winning against Haye. I can also see him losing that fight, too. But Adamek is one of the smartest in the heavyweight division. He can box Haye well and who knows maybe crack that china

Against Klitschkos you may only win by a KO. If Adamek is able to get inside, then everything may happen. He has really quick hands and one hard chin.

One thing Adamek has over K2 is speed and mobility, and I still believe VK is the more dangerous opponent overall.

Just watched the Arreola fight again. Tomasz was never really hurt. When it looked like he was dazed he was just pushed back by the weight of the punches. He never lost his legs, like he got hit when he was punching and got pushed back but he wasn't dazed.

What a chin. The man is a highlander. haha

finally seen the fight. adamek really isn't a heavyweight. evander outgrew cruiserweight but adamek is literally blown up, packing on a full 2 stones of muscle. but it's to his credit that he can beat world class heavyweights, drawing on all the things that he's learned as champion of the 175 and 200-pound divisions. his discipline is very impressive. his fights are uglier, less thrilling now. but to see him negate such a strong and powerful man (arreola) is good viewing. arreola and estrada are no mugs.

adamek did very well to take arreola's big rushes in rounds 4 and 5. arreola isn't a super sized heavyweight but he is quite brutish. many smaller men would have been trampled on by arreola. adamek deserves to sell out the prudential centre and make (relatively) big money on HBO, as he picks up important experience prior to the big opportunity (a heavyweight title fight, hopefully vs a smaller heavyweight).

Guys, sooner or later he will have to fight K2. When he defeats Haye:smoke he will get an offer from some Kliczko for sure. Tomasz will not duck. He'll be old enough and has nothing to lose when he's the WBA champ. But will he ever be ready ? I'm wondering. I'd love to see him with 3 belts and The Ring, but I don't know if it's possible. Beating Haye is really reachable tho.

    Tomasz ! :happy

What I perceived, every fighter Adamek beat, talks about rematch. I understand this, but its always step backward for Adamek to rematch fighter who he actually beat. The exception was Briggs, and could have been Cunningham too. Even Golota was saying something about 2nd fight with Adamek

Next Adamek's fight in 5 and a half months. Its a long time, but Adamek deserved for 2-3 months holidays after spending 2 years in a gym. I am just curious how much he can develop. He made a huge step forward from Estrada fight and I know that he will be still improving. He isnt young 33-34, so he is very close to his peak prime now. First half of the 2011 could be the best for fighting for the belt(s). What do you think, will Adamek be ready for the brothers, and when? His trainers say that Adamek needs 1-2 fights more and he is ready for everyone. On the other hand Adamek himselfs says that he doesnt afraid anybody and is ready for everyone (including Klits).

i will keep on saying this. in 1-2 fights time (probably a full year, given HBO scheduling), the klitschkos may not even be heavyweight champs.

vitali looks old and injured to me. he will cash out vs solis-valuev winner. this will stop vitali from calling out adamek - vitali has a relatively big fight to look forward to, vs either a giant, or a great amateur.

wlad. this is where it gets interesting. he will either fight povetkin, or haye. both men are a threat. povetkin is a fighter who fights well going forward. he can apply pressure, he has mastered the art of feints and closing the distance. he has good workrate and variety and will be a test of wlad's stamina and toughness...haye has had great practise knocking out tall, stiff robotic fighters, in world class cruisers maccarinelli and gurov (in another way, i would say adamek's fight with banks at cruiser prepared him for the arreola fight, especially in how he responded after taking a bomb.) both povetkin and haye are threats to wlad. one of them could end up holding wlad's title. then adamek would have someone closer to his own size, to fight.

adamek deserves to pick his opportunity - the right opportunity for money and legacy. it needs to be taken into account that he's not a real heavyweight. but he can beat some good heavyweights.
