The stuff box nation is showing is probably the equivalent to some small hall domestic boxing show. Hardly Anderson Silva I must admit, i find it quite stupid and pointless when boxing fans on here talk down on MMA (2 homo guys in shorts etc etc) At the end of the day, if you don't like it, don't watch it, no one is forcing you too. I like both sports, so i discuss both on here. :good
Yeah, this looks gash but I'd watch if they started showing K1, OneFC etc. I dont see the problem, only so many times you can watch repeats of older fights so its taking nothing away from the boxing. Chances are, this show costs them **** all and might rope in a couple of punters. if it doesnt? they will probably drop it.
Yeah there's a huge difference as the gi is a weapon that can be used both for you and against you, like you could choke your opponent with your gi or his gi and it allso helps with control as you can grab onto it to stop or apply a sub and with wearing one theres no sweat so it makes it harder to slip out of things Thats why mma fighters dont train with them
I like K1. Just not MMA. The idea of two meat heads jumping all over each others heads isn't really a sport in my opinion. I know there is a lot of skill in the ground action, but its boring to watch.
You've got to LOVE Boxing fans that say MMA is gay... Yet they'll happily watch Wlad in one of his hug-fests for 36 minutes or watch Bernard Hopkins come to the ring in a ****ing GIMP MASK and proceed to hug some other bloke and rub his head into his tits for half hour.
I find MMA really boring all that rolling around trying to stop moves on one another i cant really follow it, I would rather watch Judo
I think it all depends on your opinion of MMA. Too some, UFC is cage-fighting rather than UFC being a promotion that fights MMA if that makes sense. UWC, the promotion that Boxnation will be showing, is quite a strange promotion to have got the contract with Boxnation, would've felt that UCMMA and BAMMA would've been able to offer much more to the channel. UWC in all honesty will be hoping that they get some big sponsorship through this TV deal or the likes of Stav Economou, Walter Gahadza and the rest of the TSG guys who normally dominate the cards on this show won't last long IMO.
