If he can't even break 1m with Khan and Broner as undercard then he shouldn't be called as PPV king anymore.

PAC did $800K without an undercard. Floyd had 2 popular fighters to help him. &800K for this stacked*fight card would be a failure in comparison. In fact, if it brings less than 1.6 it would be disappointing. However, if $800K is good for Floyd with help, what does it say for PACs name to pull the same with no help? This would also mean that while PAC's PPV increased 69% from his RIOS fight, even at 1.6 million Floyd's PPV pull would have decreased almost 30%

I can't believe Maidana did at lesat 2X more views than Rios. Rios was more of a household name and he's MEXICAN.

GBP is going to make up a fake number. My guess? 1.2m.

They made up a fake number after the Gurerrero fight. A HUGE flop, but they claimed it did like 1.25 or something laughable.

    A PPV king?! hahaha.

Also, watch floyd fans sh*it all over fat Dan's number when he announces it….hypocritically they always say fat dan is SPOT ON when he calls what a pacquiao fight does.

Actually Espinoza said that himself, but Dan said some other number and that's what *******s ran with. All someone has to say, is my sources say this, and they get instant credibility by *******s.

YOU SERIOUS? comparing Pac-Rios to Mayweather-Maidana?

    - Cinco De Mayo.
    - Amir Khan & Adrien Broner on the undercard.

    Pacquiao-Rios

    - Pacquiao got Knocked out previously.
    - Crap undercard.
    - Fight was in China.

Didn't Espinoza also say the Robert Guerrero fight doing 800k was just a rumor? :hi:

Only later to find out it wasn't a rumor and fat dan was one of the first people to announce it :deal

Why do you keep bringing up May 5th?

Broner v Molina (not the real Carlos Molina)

Khan v Collazo (Khan could barely draw a crowd with Peterson in DC)

Funny how you *******s change your tune to suit the argument. You were all bagging on Khan and Broner and the entire undercard before this fight. I said it would be Guerrero like numbers. *******s said it would be closer to Rios. FACT.

Weren't you idiots calling for a boycott because the undercard was so bad and that Floyd was cherrypicking Maidana? Now it's a stacked and great undercard. :patsch

Canelo needs to get through Lara, which is no easy feat, and go steal that belt from Quillin. That fight will definitely sell. Again. lol

Obviously, this card wasn't going to do anywhere near the Canelo fight numbers.

Even if this card lost them money, the rematch has people interested though. Some people actually think Maidana can pull the upset in a rematch. Mayweather's "style" that night made them believe he can be beaten by Maidana.

Funny thing is, a competitive fight didn't make as much as other one-sided affairs. This PPV was definitely worth the money.
