    That's my point. The fact that Duran is even getting close to the same amount of votes as Whitaker. Is a sad sign.
    Even you think Duran is better than he really is. He's not nearly as good as Whitaker.

    Alot less time and space provided to react and respond when fighting in the pocket. Whitaker's style provided for far fewer risks and while he may be the more intelligent fighter I must give the small edge in skill to Duran.

    I'm a total ***** when it comes to cockroaches. They're filth.

    Spiders, Scorpions, Snakes... whatever. Cockroaches? UGH. :-(

    You had better hope that you never end up as the last man on Earth due to an all-out nuclear war which will see the mutated cockroaches (3.9 times the size of normal cockroaches, 2 heads) rise to claim power across the globe then. You had best hope.

    Apparently, most seem to think that if you give Whitaker Duran's power, his strength and his tenacity, he'd still fall short of Duran.

    He'd still likely fail to beat Ray Leonard. Give Duran Pea's power, strength, tenacity, and speed (which he did have slightly more of), and Roberto would still beat everyone Whitaker defeated with little difficulty.

    How do you think Duran and Whitaker would have sized up at lightweight?

    I've never agreed with Whitaker needing power to keep Duran honest. I think Whitaker's style would keep Duran at bay and make him tentative, for the most part. Even when Duran realised Whitaker wasn't a powerful puncher, doesn't mean he'd jump in after him taking lots of risks....Whitaker's style would more than drop Duran's punch volume and make him think more than taking action, most of the time.
