That is only because the IBF title was stripped of Bell, it wasn't lost in the ring Cunningham fought for the vacant IBF title.

Would be similar if GGG was stripped off the WBA belt and beat BJS he would be considered undisputed by many without all 4 belts.

Then GGG won't be considered undisputed and rightly so. Politics and ducking are the #1 and #2 reasons why it's so hard to become undisputed.
They also stripped Chagaev about one week before he fought Wlad for a bogus reason, and were giving the belt back to Valuev. Did anyone consider Wlad the WBA champ after beating Chagaev only needing the WBC belt from his brother to become undisputed? NO.

    To be honest...
Before Rigo, Donaire was having an awesome run and awesome performances.
The clinic that Broner put on Demarco would have anyone believing the hype, he beat Demarco in better fashion than most.
Odlanier Solis was a really solid fighter, just as lazy as they come.

I disagree with everyone except Price and Solis, both medalists that didn't do much, although Solis really wasn't hyped and his skillset was there. Helenius really wasn't hyped all that much either. Nonito was a P4P fighter until he grew out his proper division. Broner is solid and no one likes him enough to overhype him.

    Undeserved hype would be:

how HBO tried to push Baby Joe Mesi

    floyd

its obvious he lost to maidana and castillo

hes been protected for a very long time

    his style has deficiencies

a wild aggressive brawler gives him problems

which has already has been seen with castillo and maidana

Helenius was hyped, at least in Europe. He was expected to be the HW champion after Klitschko brothers. Personally, I respected him, and expected much more than he did. You can see a lot of threads about Broner on this forum, before his first loss. If it was not hype around him, I was not able to understand what hype really is. I don't intend to mention again Nonito . Obviously, he is/was very beloved on this forum. I dare to say : OK, I was wrong about him.

Lacey was hyped up as a super middleweight version of Mike Tyson. He destroyed Robin Reid(who managed a SD loss to Calzaghe) and was supposed to destroy Calzaghe before it all came crashing down.

I can't say ottke is over hyped but damn... He got some gift decisions, awsome amateur but never fought out of his country as a pro, his pro record should be questioned
