Still took the very best lik Azumah Nelson to thier limits. Often underrated Simon Brown. His sole loss in ten years at welter was a SD to Marlon Starling. Beautiful left hook, durable in his prime, tenacious, always came to fight. Years past his best and at junior middle he beat Terry Norris.
People dont like this one, but Tito Trinidad, certainly beatable by world class guys that can move at the highest level, but anything less or a come forward guy is most likely in for a rude awakening. Obviously not 100% of the time this statement would stand, i believe Robinson could come forward at him and still win by stoppage.
Tito cant beat fast fleeted boxers. oscar won 8 out of 12 rounds against him. oscar exposed this flaw. I have serious doubts if he would have beaten quartey or even mosley. I do agree few could outslug tito in history
I think Armstrong to a degree. He gets the top spot on a lot of peoples p4p lists but a lot wouldnt pick him h2h against many of the top 10.
jake lamotta i've heard from a few people about him in peak condition and when he wasn't weight drained he was a beast who kept on coming and coming
Don't some people have Tua in this bout'? Easy to outbox, sure... But he had unbelievable late fight power and took out plenty of damn good fighters who were outboxing him late in the fight.
Not entirely true, Tito weakness was only WORLD CLASS boxers(Infact Tito had world class skills himself, it's just that he struggled with men more skilled than him). Most of the fast fleeted boxers he fought he destroyed unless they were either world class or had some good pop. Funny thing is about Tito is that it was always amusing to see a skinny baby faced fighter outslugging boxers who were ripped to the core and looked like they came out of jail. Fenech and Tapia...I was guilty of underrating Tapia for a long time..I also think Fenech is ridiculously overlooked by this generation who idolize Barerra and Morales.

Tyrone Everett. Dominated Alfredo Escalera but was robbed. Killed at the front end of his prime years. Would have been a handful for any Jr. Lightweight I can think of.
I dont know asero..I just didnt give him his dues. I just recalled his bantam and above stuff more for a long time...and its not until pretty recently where I got reaquainted with his 115 stuff that I had seen and got hold of more I had not, that I saw how brilliant he was in his prime. Guys like Roman, Konadu and Moon were guys I remembered more...Even Tokuyama who I was high on when he was around, and got to see him from his early title career. I honestly recall even thinking Mijares could have beaten him..even disregarding the Vic loss, it seems silly now.
Since when was Quartey a fleet-footed boxer? He was a primarily stationary, stand-up stylist who relied on his jab and tight guard for his defense. Standing within range for an entire fight with nothing but a high guard to offset the incoming artillery (especially the left hook, which was the punch Quartey was most susceptible to ironically) of a guy like Tito is not a good idea. I'd take Tito at least 9 out of 10. Mosley has more variety, but I still don't think he matches up well with Tito, and would likely be taken out or lose a wide decision on the cards, going down a few times.
