Yep while Eddie will want Bellew to win Usyk winning and looking good doing so is not a bad thing at all.
Will he want bellew to win though? He’s gona ride off in to the sunset. Usyk winning sets up a Joshua fight nicely.
When it was made he said he told usyk and his team he is going to be on bellew's side due to more history between them than his new signing.
Yeah obviously that’s what he says. But do you believe everything he says? I’m sure he’ll be made up when Tony KO’s Usyk but at the same time he will be half gutted because the potential Joshua PPV is out of the equation.
Men obsessing over other men’s earnings. Particularly other men who don’t know they exist. Welcome to 2018 I guess
Very good chance this is Bellew's last fight, Usyk could be around for another decade. Eddie ain't daft.
Around 500k I’d imagine. I have my doubts this is Bellew’s last fight, especially if Fury calls him out after the Wilder fight.
This. Maybe 250k ish Think Bellew Haye numbers give a slightly false impression. Haye was a bona fire box office draw, Bellew did his part, but not sure how invested many are in him.
Just checked the BARB rating site and they have Sky Box office events for the week of the fight as 603,000 Give or take some errors in here I think we could say its done at least 500k ppv buys. Good numbers for Usyk vs Bellew!!! Certainly defeats the argument that Bellew was no PPV draw.
I certainly thought it was worth watching the fight on my TV using Eh Day's get one free, get them all free PPV Black Friday Special in 2010. Additionally it confirms that the cohort of approx 500,000 PPV mugths are the thickest people in the UK.
Showed this forum to be wrong again with some predicting some low numbers. I think these PPV's have goodwill in the sense the fights are delivering so those who buy them are not so reluctant to buy again.
