I thought he beat Kessler the first time. Let him bring in this new, mean attitude against Ward and watch him walk out of the ring with an ass whooping, telling his lady "he was too slick, again".

Froch could always step up to 175 and rematch Pascal, or fight Dawson. Froch would destroy Dawson inside 6 rounds, and the rematch against Pascal would be a war

 

Kessler wants none of that revenge against Froch. It will never happen.

 

I agree, if the rematch with Kessler doesn't come off he should step up to 175. I wouldn't fight Dawson though as he brings nothing to the table. Cleverly would be a huge domestic scrap and I'm sure he'd give Clev the beating of his life. After that he can re-match Pascal and retire.

 

Clev's a bit green at this stage, Froch would waste Dawson and that would make him the man at 175, and a 2 weight world champion. If the Cobra pulled that off, no-one could deny his status as a great fighter and future hall of famer. I'd also love to see the Pascal rematch if Kessler won't come to Nottingham

In all fairness to Kessler he fought fire with fire and probably got the cleaner work off. It will be a close fight...

 

Neither Ward of Kessler fought the real Froch

Froch wasn't himself and did things wrong during camp against Ward, strong rumours indicate he got sick before the match. And you could argue he was victim of homecooking against Kessler

These guys need to fight the real Froch for once, and then we'll see who's really the best

Ward's pillow fists are more annoying than they're hard.

1. I agree that Froch should have won against Kessler. I had it 117-113, but it wasn't the easist fight to score.

2. Ward "pillowed" Froch's face quite well and won the fight CLEARLY! It doesn't matter if Ward hurt him or not. He never came close to hurting Ward. Ward won the fight with no real trouble. Even Froch admitted that Ward was too slick and didn't make any excuses for losing. He gave a simple, sincere explaination, "he was just better than I was".

 

Andre Ward may be the greatest P4P fighters who ever lived and people give Froch **** for losing by 2-3 rounds.

It wont be going to the cards next time I can assure you that. Ward is going back to Oakland in a bodybag.

 

I've been saying all along froch will destroy ward in a rematch but nobody listened. Froch has 0 respect for ward's punching power, he will walk through him this time and brutally stop ward.
