Too bad Browne lost. Ah well gotta stressthe positive. I look forward to seieng what Raushee has once he gets to fight in the next round.
Are those guys that good though? Wait until they fight someone. They fell short of the top level as amateurs, they may do the same as pros.
That sucks Browne lost, he was probably my favorite boxer in the olympics. It was a close fight, but not gonna lie I thought he won, but it is what it is. When does this Ukranian Lomachenko or however you spell it guy fight? I've seen a few vids and he looks good but I think he is massively overrated. I hear people saying he is one of the best if not the best amateur ever, but I just don't feel it. I don't think he is anywhere near Rigondeaux's level as an AM. We will see what he can do as a pro after the games.
Gary Russell Jr. went to the olympics, but failed to make weight. Seth Mitchell got into boxing too late to make the 2008 games, so wouldn't be worth him waiting for 2012. A lot of good boxers from the USA you assume chose to turn pro instead of going to the olympics actually tried unsuccessfully to make it to the olympics. For example Timothy Bradley, Lamont Peterson and devon alexander turned pro after unsuccessful olympic team trials or qualifying tournaments.
