Question for Rico/Zakman (if your not actually the same person)....... When predicting fights, do you actually assess anything other than the chins of the respective fighters?
We are not the same person. We do however, realize that a Chin is very important in a fighters success. Perhaps THE MOST important factor. When I analyze a fight the first thing I look at is if the fighter(s) are either Orthodox or Southpaw. The second thing I look at is the Chin. :good
Sure. I look at their quality of opposition, recent performance, the level of fighter they are, and other factors. For example, one guy who's knocked out a bunch of tomato cans is not likely to starch a world class fighter who has never been knocked out.
Well - from those responses I can decipher that Zakman is the more rational poster :good Rico..... atsch
Also, it is obvious when a fighter is being protected by his management when his opposition has a very low KO ratio. Like Amir Khan for example. They knew the guys Chin was garbage and tried to milk it as long as they could by putting him in there with guys that had like 5 KO's in 30 fights. It was a dead give away.
But here's the deal. Even though he'd hit the canvas in the ams, and was fighting nothing but limited fighters with low KO percentages, there were STILL people who said it meant NOTHING. I actually had some guys tell me that ALL prospects fight light-hitting tomato cans on the way up!!!
They would be talking from their ass. Khan was matched with guys in possession of better records than other British guys, but delve a bit deeper, and you will see that most of them were career feathers with low KO ratio, and all shot, or close to it. Compare it to say..... David Haye/Carl Froch :good
Maybe it is time you stop being a nuthugger and realize that your favorite fighter has a Glass Jaw? Ever thought of that? :hi:
SOrry man, i'll say it again: You are plain stupid. Find where i nuthugged any fighter. You are a moron Rico. Everybody know. And you tried to reply with some nuthugging insult that you can't back up? Yep, everybody know... Sad...
