I've been following him since he was cheated against George Khalid Jones, in the long long ago. I'm so glad he's still winning after all these years. Go Ding-A-Ling Man! :bbb
 You obviously didn't see it. He didn't upset jack ****. That was all boxing politics. You're glad he's getting gift decisions for doing next to nothing? If it was bad for him to get cheated against Khalid Jones, why is it OK for Gomez to get cheated against him?
See this is where I would disagree. It was closer than you assert and depending on what you value, aggression vs. ring generalship (basically), you might score this fight somewhat differently. Now, I thought Gomez won, but I don't think Ding winning is terrible, and certainly not a "robbery" as some assert.
I didn't see the fight, so I don't know who "really" won. All I know is that a favourite boxer of mine is still winning.
Get over it, Ding won fair and square. I´ve seen every second of the fight and had him winning. He hit Gomez with so many body shots and was the agressor all of the time. That was by far more effective than Gomez jabs....
I watched it on youtube. Ding won this won narrowly in my books, though he seemed determined to be the first man ever to beat a southpaw without throwing a single straight right hand to the head.
Nah......but he threw about 2 dozen hayemakers, about half landed flush, and were enough to impress those judges.:deal
That should be "haymakers". Yeah, he won a few rounds on my card on the basis that he landed some power punches in rounds where Gomez didn't land a single one and had semi-landing arm-jabs. Gomez just didn't have the confidence to do almost anything of note. He threw about one impressive combination in the entire fight.
