We don't know how the boxing landscape is going to change over the next 2 years.

    -Khan could actually prove himself.
-Pacquiao could leave Top Rank (still lose)
-Broner and Floyd could have a rift in their friendship.

A lot of things could happen as far as I would go with predictions is Sept 2014, but even thats a year from now., but for fun Im guessiing it'll be.

    Garcia -May 2014

Khan or Maidana - September 2014. I think Maidanas gonna have a huge year for some reason.

Cotto II or a Canelo rematch (if he gets better)

and Pacquiao should be his last fight. Not that Pac stands a chance, but I feel like that'll be the most money then.

He could be billed as "The Final Showdown" Or "Finally here"

People would want to see that iff the history alone, and it would be the perfect way to go out.

If Pac could rebound within the next few years.

So true, it wasn't that long ago that Floyd and Fiddy were ravioli buddies. Broner is more volatile and this could be that dark horse fight (assuming of course Broner stays undefeated which is not an easy task at these higher weights).

Now that you say that. The most brilliant plan of all would be to fake a rift

Floyd's dream is to be recognize as the GOAT, i bet he knows he needs one more really risky fight and win and people will start saying it

He will fight just one of the big three, just watch ( ggg, pac or sergio)

    Garcia
    Khan/Alexander winner
Matthysse (after he gets some wins)
Khan/Alexander loser (after getting some wins)

    But should be:

    Garcia
Bradley (if he wins against Marquez)
Pacquiao (after winning vs Rios plus one more)
Martinez (if he continues to win)

Amir Khan went life and death with a well past his prime Julio Diaz, who was nothing more than a pretty good fighter when he was at his prime.

I understand the monetary gains Floyd can have in that fight, especially if he were to fight at Wembley stadium, but out of all the matchups being discussed about I feel that would be a waste of one of his last 4 fights. He looks invincible right now at 147 and 154, I'd rather see Floyd continue to take on quality opposition and conitnue to enhance his legacy.

For a guy whose about to win the FOY and took on a guy who came in at 165 lbs, FLoyd can choose whoever he wants and if he decides to have a cake walk fight against someone as completely undeserving as Amir, well Floyd has done enough in my eyes to take a tune up fight with him. But I'd much rather see him go after the Pacman if he looks ok vs Rios or meet Martinez at a catchweight and take his MW title. To me, those are the 2 fights that should be on Mayweather's radar right now.

he has hundereds of millions of dollars, he should focus more on the enhancement of his legacy and sealing the deal as one of the top 10 fighters to ever lace them up and probably a top 2 or 3 guy based on pure skills alone.

Victor Ortiz doesn't deserve anything and neither does Canelo. Ortiz is a dirty fighter who got what he deserved against Floyd and than subsequently got TKO'd by a much smaller man in Josesito Lopez. I like Lopez, he's a game fighter but he's not in the stratosphere of Floyd.

I'd venture to say if Victor met Floyd he'd get embarassed terribly. And Canelo has no right to even think about a rematch after getting completely outclassed and humiliated for 12 rounds. Maybe if Canelo can regroup and go on a 3 fight win streak against top-tier opponents, he can get another shot at Floyd. But I doubt the results would be much different. This version of FLoyd since his father has taken over as his head trainer looks like a completely rejuvenated, 25 year old version of himself with better defense. Truly amazing to see this guy fight at this level at 36.
