Not to doubt Joe Cool, but I don't think Golota v. Peter will happen next. I bet they will give the shot to Ruiz or force Sam to fight Vitali next.

I think Golota is going to have to win at least one more fight to earn a title shot.

 

The WBC situation is totally crowded, I really wouldn't put any money on Peter vs Golota either.

I still think the WBA direction is the way to go.

 

Regaurdless if it happens now or later, I am more comfortable with this match-up then the Mollo fight. Mollo was on a hot, ambush winning streak with big eyes on the prize and the G man is not good with quick starters.

Peter has been a huge dissapointment since loosing to wlad. He has been an overweight, slow, flat footed oaf who believes his own hype. He is sloppy and does not handle a punch that well.

He will no doubt jump on Golota but does not have the proper technique to pull off a Brewster thus will wind himself in the process. Golotas experience will be able to weather the mild storm enroute to a late round TKO victory.

Peter is a winnable fight for Golota!

Peter looked horrible against Maskaev.

Golota needs to work on his defence and movement.

Peter is just a slower, harder punching version of Mollo.

I dare Sam to **** Golota off with his cheating rabbit punches.

If this fight does indeed happen, Sam better watch the Bowe fights and watch how Bowe tried to cheat him and Golota came back with his own moves. Bowe can't even speak right.

He was too stationary against Mollo and got hit too often.

I noticed that in the Klitchsko and Maskaev fights, when Peter is hit with a good punch he will get angry & immediately start to throw punches. I think Peter can't help this, it's probably just an angry reaction to getting hit.

Golota needs to throw a 1-2 and MOVE!! He can't stand in front of Peter after tagging Peter with a good punch.

And Golota has to train to fight for a full 12 rounds.

Golota at 40 may not be able to KO Peter, but he has the power to hurt Peter and get his respect.

Golota winning 8 or 9 rounds out of 12 is a very real possiblity.

 

well said, golota cant stand right in front of him golota has 2 move forward, do some more head movement, golota is the fundamentally more polished fighter with better skill, and even though his age will limit the success of his superior skill and talent, he should still be able to give peter a lesson in boxing 101, if this goes to a decision i c no way peter can win, golota should take him 2 school and box this guy

If an old and slow Maskeav gave Peter such a hard time then Golota has more than a good chance!
