I think we should all give Briggs a X mark. He won't fight Golota.... you nuts?

I know I know, he said he would, but come on... he says a lot of things he won't do. I think we should take Briggs off the possible opponents list.

Somone like Holyfield would be nice tho. Or McCall.

Jaka propozycja? Komu złożona? Kiedy? To głupek.

I'll try to translate this as best as I can....here goes

Andrew Golota who has just returned from skiing ending his skiing season said he hasn't heard anything about Briggs proposition. " Briggs as always doesnt know what he's talking about, what proposition? given to whom? When? He 's a fool.
I was skiing with my famili in colorado. My son Andrew Jr won all tournaments and now I'll get back to boxing. I'll talk to King and Sam and we will see what next. best wishes to Shannon.."

So has Golota sent a fight offer to Briggs, or has Briggs sent an offer to Golota?

This seems to be turning into a cluster f*ck.

Great fight, if it is to happen, though. Even though neither a top fighter at the moment, they are both still big names, and this would be a great, and highly watched fight. One that would probably get the winner another big name fight, shortly thereafter.

Here's hoping this fight gets made. Briggs/ Golota is a MUST, after this hype and mouthing that's been going on.

Golota has to wait to fight. His next fight might be in Poland.

I take it that Briggs has claimed he's sent a fight offer to Golota, but Golota, upon learning of Brigg's claims, says he did not recieve any fight proposal from Briggs.

At least, that's what I make out of it.

I have a feeling Briggs/Golota will happen. Even though JC already stated that Briggs overpriced himself, Facing Golota would be the largest payday he is going to get at this point.

Yes, I bet it would be, too.

Briggs ought to make the most of a somewhat big name like Golota wanting to fight him, cause I doubt any other fighters as known as Golota who are on a comeback and have some viability, are looking to fight Briggs.

Enough with the BS. Golota has no clue about fighting Briggs and Fightnews says Briggs will be fighting Mollo. Meanwhile Vitaly won't be fighting Peter until the end of the year. Let's stick Golota in there against Peter as an optional defense. Money talks.

No, Briggs Golota don't look too likely, now. Says Briggs may fight Carl Walker (not heard of him), then Mollo.

I didn't think Briggs would dip this low in opposition after his Sultan loss.

He needs a fight ASAP!!! If Briggs can't get his pineapple self together then have him beat on Owen Beck in the meantime.

What about McCall, Holyfield, Moorer, or even Botha? Somebody has to be out there that Golota can fight sooner rather than later and will help his stock.

Hopefully sooner. But it seems to me Golota himself is not taking his comeback too seriously. Surely, if he really wanted to he could at least take on the bum of the month club and keepp busy until he lands a bigger match. Skiiing seems to be Golota's greater passion. I think boxing has become more of a side project for him. This could work for him or against him suppose.

A fight with McCall would suit Golota the best.

Guys... forget about Briggs. He wont accept. And he shouldn't. The guy isnt even fit to get in the ring.

I hope your wrong. I just think he needs a big name fight to get him focussed. I don't think Golota feels it helps much to beat up on the Jeremy Bates and Marcus Rhodes of the world anymore.

Message to Don King----GET THIS MAN A FIGHT!
