The reality is...Floyd has never been a fighter people want to watch. I am sure if a poll had been done (probably was) 80% would have been pulling for Pac. People don't like Floyd and it is not simply due to his behavior. It is due to the way he fights. Most, sane people don't want to watch a guy slip around the ring occasionally pecking away with a jab or quick counter. It is just not entertaining. And the one point you made that is especially pertinent is their respective weights. Floyd is a bigger guy. What would be an entertaining fight potentially is Mayweather-GGG at 157. I would pay to see that one.

Floyd was strong as hell. Whenever he crashed into Pac, Pac went flying.

Do Boxing fans actually care what mma fans think? Those jokers claimed Boxing was dead after PBF v DLH.

Unless guys are swinging like 2 drunks in a bar they are not happy.

The reality is no mma fight ever will be big as last night and that kills them inside.

the issue should be why make the fight when he has an injury that he cannot give 100% performance when he had been saying the fans deserve a good fight? they just hoped for a hail mary because floyd was not confident pre-fight or just take the money and schedule a rematch for more money?

I loved it when Mayweather just used the high guard on the ropes blocking every punch and remaining cool as a cucumber.

The argument for Manny is clear. He hurt Floyd in multiple rounds.

He continued to try and hurt Floyd all throughout the fight.

Floyd never even tried to hurt Pacquiao.

Since boxing is about hurting the other guy I give credit to the man who actually does it and tries to do it by being aggressive.

Tyson really needs to shut up.

Who is he to criticize anyone? He ALWAYS came up short in his biggest of fights.

His biggest win was against Frank Bruno or Razor Ruddock. He has no business criticizing a true ATG, something he absolutely isn't. And I'm a New Yorker also and I say it with a heavy heart because he used to be one of my favorite fighters back in the 80's.

He should give the man his due respect, but for whatever reason he's coming off as a very petty and jealous human being.

Focus / Concentration is by far Floyd's greatest asset. You are only able to implement such consistent defensive skill with Super concentration.

the biggest problem for any Floyd opponent is that judges never score 10-10 rounds. If judges would score 10-10 rounds, Floyd would probably have lost fights already. Floyd is the MASTER of edging rounds where there is inactivity. He will dazzle judges with movement, frustrate his opponent by being elusive and judges see this as 'outboxing', even when Floyd barely throws and only lands a few soft punches. Floyd seems to always get these rounds. Judges always have to give the round to someone and Floyd is the benefactor. If judges would score 10-10 rounds this fight would've been much closer. I would say Floyd clearly won around 5 rounds, no more. Then the rest were either 10-10 or 10-9 for Pac. Floyd would've won on points but much closer. 118-111 is a complete joke.

I think he actually liked when Manny threw flurries, seeing Floyd take no damage had to psychologically affect manny

That was cool to see. Though I also thought Manny showed patience by not punching himself out and stepping back the first time Floyd did it. Floyd arm blocking can cover most of his body with his arms / glove.

I was surfing the net, stumbled on #MacPac twitter, FB, damn. That was cringe worthy to read. They say stuff like hugging, running, etc. Didn't knew people was this stupid when it comes to boxing. Mayweather fought with a perfect game plan. He neutralized Pac's greatest assets, and most importantly he schooled Pac. Casual YDKSAB fans found it boring, but to us die hard fans, it was sweet science at it's finest. Damn won't bother checking those sites again for this week.

I like Pacquaio, he's my fellow country man, but gotta give credit to Mayweather for that masterful showing. People just won't give Mayweather respect. Disappointing for a true boxing fan like me. Both are ATG and deserves respect.
