Marquez was a dumb ass for even stepping in the ring with Floyd. Even worse he called out Floyd two divisions above him. JMM is happy he got the money but that was a schooling he brought on himself. Moreover, no title was involved. So it was a glorified tune up for Floyd coming off his vacation.

Floyd must be doing something right to always sell the most fights. No one keeps paying money if they keep getting bored. There must be a reason for people to keep paying their hard earned money to watch Floyd box.

 

That was actually a very good list... And not just I agreed with many of the names on it, but because of the fact that I couldn't argue too strongly about some of the guys that I felt may have deserved to be on it. No one will ever compose the perfect list due to the subjectivity nature of such a project. But the fact that you never endured any serious ridicule for your list, is in my opinion as big a compliment that you can receive.

5-10+ years after his retirement is when Floyd will be universally recognised and appreciated as an atg. Even Mayweather's most rabid critics will probably come round to the idea. The same thing happened to Lennox Lewis. He was considered great, but since his retirement he has been elevated to high ranking atg status.
