Ya, compubox is sh*t. But the stupid slow-mo punch counts paint the same story. And compubox is much more worthless for measuring punches landed than it is for punches thrown.

Lol, yup. What fell off the map was that right hook. I always felt it was one of the key assets needed for Pacquiao. I remember sitting on the bar stool just in horror watching the fight live, and telling my friend haven't seen him throw the right hook once. Right after the fight media asked Pacquiao specifically what hurt to throw and he answered, "Power jab and hook."

I hope one day we can rid compubox. There has to be a more efficient way. I don't care if we have men review it in slow-motion and tell compubox a day later. There has to be something more accurate though.

Ya that would be a better solution than posting misleading punch stats without any time to review that end up being quoted as gospel (guilty of this myself on many occasions) :nod

Pac fans will have a field day on you for dare questioning their heroes own admission of having no injury whatsoever going into the fight!

He threw more right hands than lefts, did he not?

When I read about the injury Sunday morning, I assumed it was his left shoulder. I was bewildered to discover they were claiming an injury to his right shoulder.

He never favored or fought in any way different from how he usually fights and from how he usually throws the right.

So you used to cite it until you realized that humans were responsible for it? Who did you think did it before you realized that, cheetahs or field mice or porcupines maybe?

So what you are really saying is you used to like it when it fit your argument and now since it doesn't, you don't like it anymore. Cool.

Unless it's in your first couple months of watching boxing, your opinion on compubox and its merits should never change. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see which punches land. Compubox is sometimes wrong and sometimes accurate. It's a fight by fight basis.

    ?

Even with conservative numbers, maybe because he was landing 50% less than normal and was being countered 50% more than normal...?

Nah. Of course that wouldn't have anything to do with it.

God KO2 Mayweather all day every day.

No. No-one should compare those two fights or the two fighters way of dealing with injuries or not in Manny's case. Arum said Manny injured himself in 2008. Why don't you compare all of his fights post injury and see how that works out for you. The 'wrecking machine' simply came up short against Mayweather. The best man won. The end.

Of course not being stupid Mayweather sought medical help straight away and then re-matched Castillo. Seven years after the injury and getting embarrassed Manny suddenly decides it's relevant.

A truly one armed Danny Williams fought through tremendous pain with his arm literally hanging out of the socket to win by a 12th round KO. Pacquiao is just 8itching because Mayweather didn't stand still and let him hit him on the chin. But of course if you watch the fight in slow motion, in reverse, from Mars whilst chewing a banana and tapping your knee with a spoon it was a much closer fight.

    Idiots.

Here we are disputing the possibility of pac's injury. Mean while pac and floyd chill at home and count their millions while we work and discuss them on our mobile phones.

I respect your opinion on the outcome of
Mayweather v Paccquiao and wanted to ask how you scored the following fights:

    Mayweather v
    Maidana 1
    Maidana 2
    Alverez
    Cotto
    Mosley
    De la Hoya
    Guerrero

    Pac v
    Mosley
    Marquez 1
    Marquez 2
    Marquez 3
    Bradley 1
    Bradley 2

Is your scoring usually inline with the 3 scoring judges ?

    Thanks

Hmmm. Nonito Donaire gave the same injury excuse when he lost to Rigo in almost similar fashion manny lost to Floyd.
