Manny had a scope on the shoulder, didn't he? Sure you'd rather have hand issues than a shoulder issue but he was raising his arms and throwing right hooks viciously and nobody assumed he had an impediment serious enough to account for his inability to be effective against Mayweather's control of distance. Floyd was still able to back Manny up so if he'd got whitewashed I wouldn't have accepted his 'my hands were in a bad state' excuse for not keeping Manny off him.
