All in all, it was good scrap though. Vazquez should had gone for the kill after the knockdown and that was his mistake. Dudes like Arce are really hard to beat because of the determination and stamina.

    Props to him......

PS....Freddy please get a new hair cut cabron! :)

Showtime announcers love PR fighter's tho... Re-watching both Arce & Salido gem's as called by SHO.

Man they Nut-hugged it out until the final bell for them.

    Keep your head up PR.

As puertorican I have to say that this has been a tough 2 months with the loss of Juammna and now Vazquez. Having said that I am happy for my mexican brothers because they are having their run. This was a real good fight where Arce just fought his ass and deserved the win. There will be better days for us but boxing always wins with fights like this. Now bring Cotto-Margarito 2 and lets see if you (mexican) can get the trifecta.

I think he took a brutal beating and it will take a long time for him to recover if he ever does. I was shocked that even though he dropped and hurt Arce...Arce's punches were hurting him from the beginning.

The only lost that came to shock was the Juanma. Calderon fight was a know already and credit for Vasquez for making it this far with only 4 and half of years of boxing with no amateur experience at all. He fought good and it will be a good learning experience and eventaully will be back. These rivalris always go back and forth and remember the year is not over.

But lets remember what these three fighters did while fighting for a TITLE BELT before their loses this year.

    Juanma RTD Marquez WBO featherweight
Juanma KO Figueroa WBO super bantamweight
Juanma KO Ponce De Leon WBO super bantamweight

Calderon Wins Iribe WBO light flyweight
Calderon wins twice Cazares WBO light flyweight
Calderon wins Esquer WBO light flyweight
and whole list at minimumweight for a title belt must I add:lol:

Vasquez Jr. TKO Hernandez WBO super bantamweight belt

As predictable now some will say those dont count:patsch Every fight for a title fight count and matter let alone fighting for chance to win any of the major belts

Don't worry my Boricua brother PR will get their win, I just don't know if they can match this streak. You know Vasquez could of taken a knee to buy him some time but he had too much of that warrior spirit and he just wasn't ready for this type of fight.

It would hurt me much more if we had our elites getting beat by your countrymen, even if our elites were beating alot of your lesser fighters.

Y'all dudes go on ahead and enjoy your quanity victories, while we enjoy our QUALITY victories. :good

I must say this has been the worse year for PR I have ever seen.
I think PR only has 1 or 2 champs right now. WTF is going on.

Congrats to Mexico btw....till the next one bitches!

Like I said before a PR worse nightmare is a Mexican that doesn't stop coming. 9/10 pf PRs major losses have been to overcoked Mexican boxers like Arce lol. Arce is a bad bad man. :bbb
