They're Mississippi judges, not Vegas or AC judges. They're probably not going to get any other HBO fights to judge, and HBO doesn't write their paychecks. Why would they give a ****? I can see blaming it on DiBella - he's the one who picks and pays them, but blaming HBO is just straight conspiracy theory tin foil hat ****.
Harold Ledermann's card was fair, 7-5, I had it Collazo winning by more than that. The judge who had it 116-111 for Berto should be banned from boxing for life! Berto's father yelled, before the end of the fight that his son had to win by a knockout, I think he was correct.
Rounds 1, 3,4,6,9 and 10 for Collazo Rounds 2,5,7,8,,11 and 12 for Berto. Because of the point deduction off Berto in the 4th (which I did'nt agree with) my card has Collazo the winner 114-113. Great fight.....Collazo imo consistently landed the cleaner more telling shots......but credit must be given to Berto for sucking it up when it seemed like he was wearing down headed toward the late rounds, he sucked it up and won the last two rounds clearly imo. A pity that one judge had to ruin the night by turning in his prefight filled scorecard!:-(
Berto didn't show me anything specail ... he's not ready for the big names ... Dibella got the best Judges money can by ...
Very close fight I had it 1 - Collazo 10-9 2 - Berto 10-9 3 - Clollazo 10-9 4 - Collazo 10-8 Holding 5 - Berto 10-9 6 - Collazo 10-9 7 Berto 10-9 8 Berto 10-9 9 Collazo 10-9 10 - Collazo 10-9 11 - Berto 10-9 12 - Berto 10-9 I had it 114-113 Collazo but I could see it 114-113 Berto. 116-111...what the hell fight was that judge watching?. He should never judge a fight again.... REMATCH!!!
I had it 114-113 Berto last night. I want to rewatch and rescore it tho. That **** was not robbery. It was a damn close fight and a damn good fight. 116-111 is ****ing ******ed though and that judge should be shot.
How does that work with the point taken? You can't just disregard it, even if you don't agree with the ref.. If you scored seven rounds for Berto, it would be 115-113, minus the point is still 114-113 for Berto. Six rounds apiece is 114-114, minus the point is 114-113 Collazo. There's no "in between", unless you had a 10-8 round in there somewhere...and there wasn't one. The closest would be maybe the 11th or 12th since Berto was so much more active and effective, but Collazo was never really hurt or roughed up enough to justify a two-point swing...he was just exhausted and in survival mode, and gave up two very clear rounds.
114-113 for Collazo 10-9 -Collazo 10-9 Berto 10-9 Collazo 10-8 Collazo 10-9 Collazo 10-9 Berto 10-9 Berto 10-9 Berto 10-9 Collazo 10-9 Collazo 10-9 Berto 10-9 Berto No way in hell could I have scored this for Berto
