It would be a horrible fight, worse than even Leapai. At least Leapai beat Boystov for what little that counted. Briggs is 42 and hasn't had a decent win since he beat Liakhovich 7 years ago. Briggs looked shot to **** against Vitali. Might as well fight Tua or Holyfield.

I want to see this fight if Briggs is able to defeat a top contender.

You mean Wlad gets to keep Leapai as his trophy b*tch?

Wach and Pianeta both beat him down similarly to Vitali. And Mormeck was just a shade under David Haye in terms of overall ability, perhaps better when he was younger ie prime for prime.

Does ANYONE believe 42 y/o Briggs is greater than Haye, i think not....therfore he's not better than Huck, Cunningham, Hernandez, Ledbedev, Jones, Adamek, or any of the great CW CHAMPIONS of this and the last era.:deal:deal

Nope, David haye who alot of people said talked himself into fighting him acually was a world title holder and a two weight divison champion before he fought him.

So Shannon should atleast fight some top 20 guys and afer that might get a shot.

I don't want to see Wlad fight in an uncompetitive fight so, no.

Actually, Wach or Pianeta vs Briggs would be an okay match.

I'm guessing Wlad will want to fight whoever wins the WBC belt in two weeks.

Are those two names meant to mean something?

They are two absolute nobodies and Mormeck was out of the ring for almost two years and retired before Wlad called him up for a fight.

At least Briggs knocks out these nothing men in the opening rounds and don't take them the distance like Mormek did.

No, this is not show business, it's sport. And it would be good to see that fight at all.
