Lara vs Trout isn't officially on it though yet is it? Either way, to me just having the two headliners as they are makes it the best ppv that I can think of.
It looks like Lara vs. Trout will almost definitely not be on the card. Victor Ortiz may wind up on the card though.

This is a card where millions of non boxing fans will be watching. So don't freaking put technical, boring ass fighters on this card. The first two fights needs to be pure entertainment barn burners.

Dan Rafael (12:09 PM) That fight is not being added to the card, according to Richard Schaefer. He told me it is not even a fight for which he has any discussion for whatsoever with either side. He said it is merely one fight that was thought up at the office but there has been no real conversation about actually making it at this point although that could change down the road. I think the Mayweather Promotions fight is going to be Ishe Smith-Carlos Molina being rescheduled for the card (was supposed to be tonight but Ishe got cut) and I think there's a good chance Victor Ortiz will make his return on the card. Nothing definite yet though.
If Ortiz is added it will most likely be against Alfonso Gomez. That would be an action fight as long as it lasted.
