Tua...are you guys off your head? Even if he wins he'll get no love after what Barrett did. And Tua would still have raw power if he lands a big shot.
Once again I say Neven Pajkic the undefeated Canadian Champ for the Commonwealth. Sure it's not a marketing or a fans dream fight but it's a real (and realistic) Boxing matchup and the right sort of fight to make at this stage of Dell Boy's career. It would represent another decent win at domestic level and once he has another 1 or 2 decent wins at that level he can look to jump up to that next level.
Sam Sexton is a very good fighter, and could beat Adamek in my opinion. He's just beat a very good fighter in Sam Sexton, in good fashion. Derek Chisiroa is ready to strike now..! he's not some young fighter in his early 20's maturing phsyically, and personality/charactor wise. He's a ****ing grown man, and the British & Commonwealth Champion. When did all you guys become such pussys..?
I think he should fight Fury next as he's Del Boy's mando then maybe one other defence of his titles. After that go for the Euro title against Dimitrenko. If he gets past those then up to the world stage and guys like Solis and a title shot. I think we need to remember that he only has 14 fights. While I'm all for matching prospects up well and not padding records, they shouldn't just be thrown to the lions as well. There's a fine line. A few more fights before moving to the world stage is ok imo, building him up in stages rather than dropping him in the deep end. If he makes it that far of course.
Sexton isn't better then Adamek. And other then Sexton who has he beaten to prove that he is beyond domestic level? A shot to bits Danny Williams, the human fridge Carl Baker and a smattering of decent journeymen. Did he win medals at the World Amateur Championships, The Europeans, was he an Olympian? No he was an ABA winner but nothing special as an amateur (a la Degale, Gavin). He is still at domestic level as a Pro and there is no reason to rush him past that when there are good fights to be made for the British and Commonwealth. And a fight with someone like Thompson would be very high risk very low reward. Bringing him over would not be cheap and the fight would almost certainly lose money because Dell Boy still doesn't have a following and the win wouldn't get him any kudos outside the real hardcore Boxing fans, seriously think about it what would he gain from taking on Thompson.
I'd be happy if he fought Fury. He could beat Fury quite easily and it would be seen as a decent win over a fellow undefeated prospect. That would 2 prospcets '0' he would have ended. Sets him up nicely towards European level.
