Predictably Pricey is lined up for the Whyte-Chisora PPV undercard against Tom Little. It's almost as if Matchroom aren't trying anymore with another uninspiring match up.
Has it occurred to you that he needs a payday and is being helped out by being offered fights ? It's not always about us being inspired
He has name that casuals know, probably isnt asking for major money and Hearn probably offered Little this opportunity to make up for the Dinu/Bulgaria fiasco. Easy fight to make and offer Matchroom a sellable undercard fight without breaking the bank
I'm just happy it's not Takam. I feared for Price's health when that was announced. Although anyone who takes him past six rounds will knock him out.
Its the never in a dull fight thingy Although I do not agree with this statement Vulnerability seems to sell
This undercard and this fight in particular scraping the bowels of Matchroom HQ -would they not be better just throwing in highlights of Price's career to fill the PPV time? The PPV mugths also may even be happy watching Tony Dosh bashing a bag for 30 mins while talking shyte with Adam Smith.
OOPS I forgot the Pudding Whyte v Pudding Chisora headline fight is really an undercard fight somehow ending up on PPV
If they put David "Hamster Lungs" Price on another PPV event I will not buy that PPV out of principle. If that means me not watching Whyte Vs Chisora live then so be it, I will still have my principles. David "I Quit On My Stool" Price has been given chance after chance and failed time and time again. So at what point do we finally get rid of David "It just wasn't me out there Kugan" Price? I give to charity regularly, I have a few direct debits that go every month that go directly to charities but I draw the line here, if they want to pad the pension of David "I'll be back" Price then just give him the money, don't expect me to pay for it.
Aye big pricey let himself down in that last fight. Almost like he was keeping himself for the next ppv undercard. He's always gave it his all. Even if that's involved turning his back on an opponent. Or getting sparked out by someone. That last fight he kind of walked away a bit too easily for me. No doubt there was an injury. But its still a big oppertunity. Kind of felt like he got out of there cause his stamina was going. No one wants to see him get knocked out but if your getting out of there to avoid it...your not offering much as a ppv undercard fighter. Frustrating cause most of us we,re proud of his effort against povetkin.
People tolerated more **** from David never fit Allen on more PPVs before they lost patience and he’s half the fighter of Price. At least Price’s fights are exciting.
