Khan's body and brain took a beating last night. You could see his skin and muscles become loose later in the fight. Poor at mental aspects and little mind control, purely an athletic fighter with speed. Those types do not last long.
His "deep problem" is that Roach has taken him as high as he can. Roach isn't a defense kind of guy. If you listen to him in the corner he's always asking his fight to "take this guy out" etc.. Never anything involving taking less punishment. Khan may have to possibly look for another trainer. Why not Floyd SR. He has incredible offense, now he needs to learn defense.
Well Pacquiao went pretty far with Pacquiao after they called him a one-handed fighter with no skill, after Morales and Marquez; hardly the public perception of the top-end ATG we know today. Criticize his resume all you like-nobody predicted he would go on to do the things he did.
That ***** that fought going backwards against pacquiao, gtfo with that master of inside fighting **** :rofl
Whether he has a chin or not he still needs an inside game. As it was he was standling on the ropes taking punches anyway....throw in some inside punches yourself and you may deter your opponent from coming in. Pacman can't fight on the inside but for the most part he deters fighters from getting there with his huge power. Khan is also a reasonably hard puncher, but when he starts running backwards he takes all leverage off his punches. If he could use 'cute' footwork and upper body movement to keep the centre of the ring instead of backing up against the ropes, he'd keep keep the leverage and power on his punches that would stop opponents getting in close. Peterson, as fantastically as he fought, has never fought in that style before. He's never been a pressurising brawler, and he's not a huge puncher. If you can't win that style of fight against someone like him, the Margs/Cotto's of this world will murder you. At the end of the day adaptability won this fight. When both were employing plan A Khan was easily outboxing Peterson. He looked wild and desperate as early as round 1. But he adapted and came up with a new game plan that Khan and Roach failed to deal with because of the flaws highlighted within this thread.
Watch the Katsidis fight you dumb ****ing cumstain. Marquez fought very effectively on the inside. And he schooled Pacquiao, going backwards. :deal My advice: Know your boxing before you open your cum guzzling mouth, ***.
??? Marquez is a very good inside fighter. He DID NOT run against Pac in the way Khan did against Lamont...he just never took the lead. If you don't know the difference you need to watch more boxing.
Well, clearly you don't know **** about boxing and clearly you haven't seen JMM mastery. Kindly STFU *****.
