Why can't Wlad cut off the ring? Why can't he throw body punches and throw different variations of his right hand? All he does is jab jab straight right then back out. He's good at what he does but he doesn't have many tools. He needs to watch more of his little countryman Lomachenko, an amateur but throws all different sorts of punches from all different distances. Wlad is predictable and boring.
Don't get me started on Haye, he was just pathetic. But Wlad played a part in this stinkfest as well, he deserves criticism. This fight was bad for boxing, that can't really be disputed.

Wlad did cut off the ring. If you didn't see that you probably don't know what it is.

Also, Wlad has thrown different "variations" of punches with his right hand in many fights. Once agian, you just must not know what to look for. Either that, or you don't watch the fights and just go by the word of other posters. Either way your worthless.

klitschko continually cut off the ring. its hard to do it the whole fight with an opponent that was only interested in survival. boxing may be dead in the USA, but the show that was put on by the Germans was absolutely phenomenal. What ring entrances. Awesome entertainment.

If haye tried to fight like he did in the 12th, it would have been far more crowd pleasing and a much shorter night for klitschko, haye would have won much more respect.

Hayes mouth far exceeds his talent, that's for sure.

It seems like half the people here can't see Wlad has a left hook, even when he knocks someone out with it. They just keep repeating the jab and grab line. It lets you know who's actually bothering to watch before they empty the sand from their vaginas onto these threads.

When he did occasionally cut off the ring he didn't even throw anything, that's when he should've thrown bodyshots, that's when he should've just thrown punches. Instead it was just poke poke poke with the jab. Why couldn't he square up and throw punches when he was inside with Haye? His body stays in the same position the whole fight, there is no style or improvisation in his game. I admit I haven't watched alot of Wlad because when I have it's been terribly boring but one thing I don't do is take others opinions as my own. I've forgotten more about boxing than you obviously know.
Wlad was terrible, just because Haye was worse doesn't excuse Wlad. If you and other Wlad fans want to get upset go for it, I speak the truth.

I was a slightly let down with Wlads performence due to a few things he didnt do, but at the end of the day, he won in convincing manner against one of the top 3 best fighters in his division, once again, and he reduced haye to becoming nearly completely innefective, and its never an easy night when your opponent comes with the main intention of just being elusive.

But as usual, Wlad takes on a guy that plenty of people in boxing feel will punch holes through him, and he dominates. But then its always something else wrong.

But Wlad fans shouldnt feel too bad, because ESB was doing the exact, same, thing, when Lewis was an active fighter. Lewis got very little respect on here at all when he was fighting. Once he retired it was like a complete night and day when people were discussing him.

    :deal

Damage control by one of Haye's most vocal hype men.

This is the same poster who considers Haye to be an ATG.

Everytime when Klitschko wins, there´s always this same whining about how "HW is in a weak era" and "how boxing is dying" and how the opponent sucked big time.

The division isn´t very competitive at the top, but there´s a real champion and king of the division.

There boxing and then there´s heavy weight boxing - when somebody finally wins either Vitali or Wlad, expect the tension go through the roof.

I hate "super fights" for this reason. The fact is the majority of casual fans who watch a big boxing match want a punch up, simple as that. They don't understand the sport at all.

I know people who LOVED the fight, I also know people who thought it was BORING.

I told everyone I know, don't expect a brutal fight at all. I told people I know, what Wlad does, told them to watch the Chagaev and Chambers fights. I told them, don't expect this to be any different.

I told Chef, no rematch and no fight with Vitali. I don't want to see Haye in the ring again. He fooled a lot of the British public, he made 10 million plus, he insulted the brothers and a few days ago in an interview he said that he would probably insult them even more if a rematch happens. The interview is in the British forum.

I'd like Chef to see it. Haye and Booth don't regret any of their pre fight bull****.

I'm glad it's over. You know what though? The sad thing is Wlad is still getting no respect from some people and he never will.

Anyway atleast I got Bute to watch this weekend, strangely no one in real life has asked me about the fight?!

:thumbsup Which is the way I prefer it to be honest, casual boxing fans are so annoying.

Those casuals can now get back to watching football/soccer and I can relax and not have to listen to their opinions about a sport they have very little clue or interest about.
