The reason Floyds PPV numbers are so high.

    Lets get this straight. The only reason people purchase Floyds PPV fights is to be able to witness him lose live. EXCEPT for his "fans". But in my own experience, everyone that I know that claims to be a Floyd Mayweather fan cant even name his last two opponents and cant even say they've seen anything other than highlights. 1 guy even thought that Mayweather and Pacquiao fought and Mayweather knocked him out. Not to say he doesnt have any real fans out there. But if you filtered out everybody who buys the PPV to see him lose, then be ready to subtract about 500,000 or more PPV buys.

    I'm sure he knows that and isn't particularly bothered as long as the money keeps rolling in.

    Nobody is going to pay $70 just to see IF Floyd will lose. That's throwing money away. You're *******ED son.

    Floyd is #1PPV because he's the best boxer in the world! That's all the public cares about.

    While the 0 has a lot to do with it, Mayweather is also a marketing guy and a business man. He knows how to entertain the public well enough out of the ring to tempt them enough to tune in and witness how he performs in the ring.

    the same goes for every other fighter, Ive met a few people that claim to be a Pacquiao fan and they thought he was undefeated not knowing hes been KO'd. Its like when Canelo fights a lot f the people watching are females who know nothing about the sport and claim he was robbed against Mayweather
