    Look, I'm a GGG fan and I don't even like Ward at all, and anyone who seriously thinks Ward is ducking GGG is a freaking moron.

    All i know is Direll beat him in the ams, ward, abraham, kessler all beat him right now too......Goloblin really is a media creation and will get exposed the first time he fights an elite fighter...

    And whats the reason why Goloblin is ducking Lara, huh??

    To be fair Ward has only fought twice since 2012 so it's not like he has had much opportunity to fight Golovkin during this time.

    Putting aside all the bull**** from both sides there simply isn't enough money in this fight yet to make it worth while for either fighter. Both fighters want a purse which HBO is willing to stump up.

    Ward has been in no mans land, his reputation and drawing power has taken a hit. Golovkin is a rising star but still isn't a much bigger draw than Ward. Both parties see this a potential big fight in a year or 2, neither will fight for less than they think it could be worth.

    GGG has a great uppercut also, amongst his potent ****nal. I just can't see Ward getting out without being KTFO. His only chance would be to headbutt and hold, and if the fight isn't in jokeland, that BS won.t be allowed. Weeks needs to ref this one.

    Fully agree, which is why Golovkin was ready to move up for Chavez but not for Ward. Ward is simply far too risky and provides absolutely nothing(financially and in terms of actual recognition). This fight could do much better in the long run if Ward doesn't temporarily retire for 2 years again after his next fight.
