They haven't even revealed the top 25 but from 26-100 it's still ****.

    Few examples:

    26.Edwin Valero
    27.Ricky Hatton
    28.Juan Carlos Salgado
    30.Tomasz Adamek
    33.Steve Cunnigham
    39.Amir Khan
    43.Joan Guzman
    44.Ali Funeka
    49.Andre Ward
    52.Devon Alexander
    61.Juan Diaz
    64.Carl Froch
    67.David Haye
    71.Denis Boytsov
    78.Michael Katsidis
    93.Yuri Foreman
    99.Tavoris Cloud

I appreciate it's hard trying to rank the top 100 boxers in the world but that list is just horrible. If you can't do it then don't attempt to!!

Probably a reflection of the fact that one has only ever lost to the absolute elite, whilst the other has a total of one victory over a world level opponent. Just a thought, like.

It's not something I've thought about doing, to be honest.

Probably because there would be a glaring omission somewhere, and I'd be unable to cloud my bias toward some fighters and against others.... such as Williams, Marquez x2 and Martinez (all for) and Pavlik, Dawson and Wlad (all against)

These lists are fun to make but are pretty pointless.

Don't say that on the general.

It's really important who's the 33rd best fighter in the world you know ;)

I posted this in the Choi thread as well, Ish. It's wank and smacks of double-standards across the board. I thought Donaire being placed as high as he is in the top 10 P4P list was bad enough as well:lol:. Valero, Cunningham and Alexander's placings are a complete joke and it's amazing that all 3 are so far ahead of Haye (a two weight and lineal champ at CW) and Froch. Utter wank.

It's an American list what do you expect, half of them don't look much beyond the colour of the flag on a fighter's shorts!

In that case, why would they rank Valero as high as he is given that his shorts and tattoo are pretty much the antithesis of American 'values' and ideology? I think it's fairer to say the list is just ****. A lot of guys who haven't been on HBO or Showtime are ranked above established names as well so any arguement for 'he's not been on yankee TV' falls on it's face as well.

Darchinyan's ranking is the biggest joke in the list, IMO. How he is as low as that I'll never know. I know people will say things like 'who cares who's 43rd in the world', but when you have established names below hypejobs you have to question it. The Ring panel should hang their head's in shame over this as it's utter ****.

Ward at 49 as well. Not sure if this list was written before or after the Kessler fight, but I suspect before. If so then he has no business being that high. If it was written after, he should be a lot higher!
