I have a stack of ring magazine by my toilet, not too many recent ones they are kind of expensive these days. But I do love the magazine.

Noone advertises in the Ring so the mag is WAYYYY overpriced and not worth it. You get the same info online for free. I used to buy them.:rasta

I buy one whenever I see one. Print media as a whole is dying a slow death. If die hard fans like us don't buy it who will? Stop being cheap and make sure our beloved sport maintains an inkling of relevency.

The Barnes and Noble is on the other side of town for me and when I do go across town I pick up a Ring Magazine. So, usually, every couple of months or so I pick one up. I got the recent one with David Haye on the cover.

I have about 13 or so old ones, but I haven't bought one or even seen one since 2004.The last one I have is from march '04 and ask's,"who will replace Lewis,Tyson and Holyfield"?They have above it pictures of Audley Harrison,Dominick Guinn and Joe Messi. The Ring is too funny.Guinn did have some talent though.

The one I cherish though,is the December '03 collector's annual which has Tyson and Ali on the cover in that great style of drawing which is perfect for boxing.Ali is landing a right hand lead on Tyson who apparently tried to come in with one of his lightning fast uppercuts. It is,"The 50 greatest fights you never saw",and dives into "The all-time dream matchups".By far my most cherished of all I ever bought and still possess.

Pacq didn't even exist then, but they had Floyd vs Ike Williams in there.Which made me say Ike who?Floyd was not one of my favorite active fighters yet in '03.They were Toney,Hopkins,Trinidad,Corrales,Casamayor and a few guys from philly who never really made it.

They have Kid Chocolate vs Flash Elorde,Shane Mosley vs Beau Jack,Barrera vs Willie Pep,Robinson vs Leonard,Marciano vs Frazier,Prince Naseem vs Eder Jofre,Ezzard Charles vs Roy Jones and Foreman vs Lewis in there among many many more.

Who says h2h matchups don't matter? The Ring seems to think they do.

By far my favorite issue of The Ring mag that I ever bought.$7.95 for that issue.I wonder what they cost now.

I used to buy everything with Pac's mug on it, but since he's almost always on ring magazine..I haven't. Helps that I'm broke and the mags these days are almost 10 f'n dollars.

I have a few copies of ring from the 90s,i bought their heavyweight special edition which goes through the champs from Sullivan up to Bowe.I started buying boxing monthly around the same time as that and still do so stopped buying ring.Pretty much the same as everyone else it stays in the toilet until the next edition comes out then goes in a drawer.
