I suppose Laudelino Barros is a step up from previous competition. I'd like to see him in with somebody like Sherman Williams, Razvan Cojanu or Kevin Johnson next.

Although he's not gonna be a world beater, I enjoy the way Pletchko fights, does anyone know what he's up to, any fights on the horizon?

funny how he went from being really active fighting approximately once a month to suddenly being inactive. What's going on?

Maybe he is a free agent and he can't get fights, tough to say.

Kinda impressive, even if it is against mostly bums.
And he has been fighting all over the place: Russia, Estonia, Finland and Latvia.

6'2 in today's heavyweight division will be a deficit he can't overcome at the top level against the bigger men, unless he has young Tyson's footwork and head movement, to get inside.

If the 50's, 60's and 70's heavyweights are favored beat the s--t out of today's weak division, then surely a brutal puncher like Plechko should be able to, right?!

Alexander Povetkin is 6ft 2 and he's had a very good career.

P.E.D.vetkin? Yeah, I'm assuming Plechko is P.E.D. free. Something P.E.D.vetkin wasn't for large portions of his career. And even P.E.D.vetkin had issues navigating the Klitscho jab and right hand style. The size and reach causes problems for smaller men who don't have the bob and weave head movement or footwork to get inside.
