Intelligent fighters learn (frustratingly fighters like James Degale don’t). For years everyone expected Vlad to lose because there was a “blueprint” on how to defeat him, however Vlad had learned from his defeats to such an extent that those tactics would never come close to defeating him again. At the same time a bigger, stronger fighter who can take your power and sets a high work rate and will hit you in the balls all night long would be a nightmare for any fighter in the world to face.
Bruh if you're serious, you can't be relied upon to score a fight. If you're saying that Maidana won...I have to conclude that you can't score a fight. I take that part of boxing very serious in boxing discussions.
Lol. I said Floyd won, but Marcos did well enough to wins rounds against a guy who rarely ever loses a round in any fight. He landed some good shots, hurt Floyd and roughed him up a bit. I had Floyd winning by 2 or 3 rounds which surprised me because I thought he'd absolutely dominate like he did in the rematch
Yup. Lomachenko "lost" the first fight--I believed then and still believe it should have been scored a draw--for two very simple reasons: 1) his pacing early in the fight was overly conservative; 2) his corner, for some inexplicable reason, advised him to tie Salido up when the veteran Mexican employed his bull-rush tactics, rather than use his brilliant footwork to maneuver into counterpunching position. The former mistake is understandable; the kid was fighting in his first 12-round championship fight against an opponent known for getting better as a fight wears on. The second mistake, in my opinion, is unforgivable. Finally, for all of the ******s out there, let's stop acting as if Salido somehow dominated the fight or won a decisive victory. With all the low blows, goon tactics, and coming in overweight, Salido squeaked out a very narrow decision. Indeed, Lomachenko--as I have posted numerous times before--demonstrated the ability to adjust to Salido's tactics in-fight when he won he won the championship rounds and dominated the 12th.
Qawi was 1-1-1 in his first 3! OMG how will he ever cope with Spinks, Holy & Muhammad! Oh wait... Pretty well it turns out lol
What has Lomachenko done since losing to Salido other than beat a guy with a broken hand coming up TWO weight classes?
