Fixed :hey I was there mate, no way did Hyland win that fight :deal Was like al-Hamidi vs Murray :yep
I went last night...I thought that Quigg did what he had to against a fighter who had lost his last 4 contests...:yep Hatton will bring Quigg on in the same way he was brought on by his promoter back in the day...:yep One to watch out for in the future from last nights card was Doran from North Wales...:yep
It was the #1 ranked Featherweight contender by the EBU(an undeserving position for Merdov to hold imo), so it shows Lukin must have some ability about him despite his record. The original post also mentions Kostin has never been stopped, he has(although only once) by Damaen Kelly in a round. Quigg is a very talented fighter and a great prospect, I don't think it'll be long before he's ready for the best at British and European title level.
It was a legit knockdown by Vilani (big left hook). But the report I read says that Quigg finished the round strongly, so I don't think he was affected too much by it.
quigg will defo go far , he's one of our main young lads to watch out for. he's got the power to entertain us all.
Ah now lads, it was on Sky......who here wasn't taking in their full weekly dose of Friday Fight Night Legit knockdown, the Italian landed a good left hook and the force of it put Quigg on his arse but he wasn't hurt and certainly wasn't in any trouble. He came back strongly in that round alright and put in a very impressive performance. He's actually a very different fighter now and tucks up much better than he did back then(when he was a little open). But I wouldn't have any concerns about his chin from that incident.
