Back-to-back fight weeks for Mr. Bogere! :scaredas:

Last Friday night, the 26th, he stopped Jose Hernandez (for the first time in Hernandez's career). Sadly, the bout was scuttled from the televised portion of the FNF card (if it was ever intended to be broadcast) as both the cofeatures Garcia-Theophane and Escalante-Roman went the scheduled 10 rounds. Has anybody got some home video?

This Friday, he's in with southpaw Lowell Brownfield.

Brownfield lacks a signature win but his trophy accomplishment to date is holding Don Juan Futrell to a ten round draw.

I remember seeing this guy on a FNF card this past summer. I couldn't believe when he came into the ring in the cage wearing a lion pelt! Seems like an exciting kid. I'll keep my eye on him.

 

There are still no results listed on BR, and there is no answer at the venue of record. Maybe the Marconi Auto Museum is closed on weekends? :conf

The kid was nationally televised for like four consecutive outings last summer (on Azteca and ESPN2 undercards), and now he's stuck in dark matches three times in a row.

What part of people want to see the lion warrior are promoters not getting?

We need to tell this guy that it behooves him to do whatever it takes to get (and keep) Bogie back on national TV, to build up his fanbase and demand - which will increase his leverage in getting the bigger fights to make the leap from prospect to contender.

Solo Boxeo doesn't do replays! I checked Telefutura's whole schedule and there's no boxing until next Friday's new episode. :twisted:

If I knew Sharif was going to be on I'd have set the DVR. Damn it. If anybody finds any of this last fight uploaded anywhere let me know.

 

I think it's time for Bogere to stup up and fight for a minor title, a youth championship or something.
