calzaghe had a lot of trouble with a 43 year old man. calderon had a lot of trouble with ronald barrera.
Calderon looks like a midget next to Cazares. if he weren't fighting guys so much bigger i wouldn't give him so much credit.
look it up, tyson switched to orthodox in like his 15th pro fight an sometimes switches back to southpaw, he was initialy southpaw
I consider Dawson a much better fighter than Williams. The list should look like this. 1.Calzaghe 2.Pacquiao 3.Cristian Mijares 4.Dawson 5.Ivan Calderon 6.Paul Williams 7.Joel Casamayor
the title of the thread was the six best southpaws in boxing, not currently in boxing and this was for STING cause he was being a smart ass
Calzaghe is 36 himself. Calderon had won 16 world championship fights on a roll. That only qualifies him
Don't get me wrong. Dawson is good and will get there. I just dont have him there yet. If only needs to stay disciplined and a couple more fights.
If I think about people that were good at some point I have to mention Hector "Macho" Camacho. I mean before he decided to run so much and use so much drugs in between fights
