    Never.

It won't stop until one side wins and the people with the agenda get what they want.

    Its Liverpool vs. Man United.

    This.

Please tell me Woodhall isnt co-commentator tomorrow night, he should not be allowed anywhere near a Carl Froch fight, it will be like watching the Olympic boxing again, non-stop Froch cheerleading.....

Woodhall was on Ringside last night and I was half-listening to it, thought they mentioned he was working at it, probably wrong. Darke and Watt will do me, the best in the business.

The fight commentary is better on sky than the US stuff. Watt gets excited which adds to the experience. Sure he sometimes forms an opinion during the fight then sticks to it, but he is human. Everyone watching is also watching the fight through their own opinion. I much prefer an excited commentator than someone who is providing first class technical analysis with no emotion.

Where sky let themselves down is on the discussion programmes like ringside where it is too much of "british boxing is doing so well". It is a bit creepy, boring and repetitive.

Fight commentary for me is about the excitement and passion the commentators are putting in. Ringside etc should be less creepy, more insightful and more challenging in their analysis.

With all that said, it's nice to see media folks spending time with fans. It would be very easy to hop into the car and head off to your hotel, complimentary meal, etc. Making a bit of an effort does add to the atmosphere of a big fight.

I'm the other way around i prefer the U.S to U.K stuff but it's a case of what you like and yeah excitement is a major aspect for me that's why i can't stand some guy just chatting bollocks on the mic with no crowd noise that ruins a fight for me sometimes. I love listening to Darke on a big fight. Maybe it's because i grew up with him but he gets me amped on the big nights.

But i love Al and the Showtime boys. HBO are good although do have some shockers from time to time.

Just because they signed yourautograph doesnt mean they are good for the entertainment industry. They are dull as wood.

Without going off-topic, Skills. Do you think it's maybe because some people make such a virtue of praising Sky for doing very little?

I do wish everyone talked more about boxing than the business side of things, but that's the nature of this sport in particular. Even the old-school journos spent as much time talking about the machinations of King, Arum, Jacobs, et al as the men punching each other in the face.

Yeah it's got to be something and it most probably is people getting fed up with the unwarranted praise at times.

I see what you mean and i agree it's just a shame there seems to be a lack of balance on here now it used to be politics, finance and boxing but now there's very little talk on the actual action and more on fights out of the ring. More weigh in analysts now..
