:think I'll put him on the fence then. You got a good point. He did use some head movement and footwork to avoid being hit, but I get where you coming from

ROFL! Of coure RJJ was slick, are you kidding me? You don't have to be a defensive wizard in a traditional sense to be slick, the slickness of RJJ came from his reflexes, foot work, and uncanny eye for timing. The guy almost never got hit in his prime when he was in the center of the ring ... if that is not slick then I don't know what is. These guys on this forum, man, they on some other ****. Defense doesn't mean you know how to pick off shots, it also has to do with the legs, roy was slick because of that and his ability to sense when a punch was coming, reflexes. Ali was the same, Ali didn't have great technical defense, but he had loads of slickness. Roy is in the same boat.

Roy is a slickster, great reflexes and speed in both hands and feet.

I've been debating this actually. I saw Tyson fight a month ago (forgot which one) and was impressed with his head movement and I started thinking. Is Mike Tyson slick?
His whole defense was pretty much just head movement and he was hard to hit in his prime
I wanted to hear other people's opinion first though
