    Thanks for bumping the thread!

I agree that Tre Lippe Morrison is a hypejob. Then again, for the most part,so was his dad. "As an actor he is a great fighter, and as a fighter he is a great actor." I think Emanual Steward said it, if someone remembers better than me.

    Also, Evgeny Tischenko added retro-actively.

Gassiev and Nick Webb have suffered defeats, although I thoroughly expect Gassiev to rise again.

I think there’s 3 distinct groups of genuine future contenders

Top class professionals moving up a weight to try their chances at Heavyweight & good boxers who’ve learned their trade in the HWs and are reaching their peak.
    Usyk
    Bellew
    Gassiev
    Kownacki

There’s those over 25 years old who are coming out of the amateurs with good to excellent records but their age suggests they need to move quickly
    Dychko
    Joyce
    Hrgovic
    Yoka

Then there’s a host of under 25s some as young as 20 who haven’t had the benefit of learning their art via the amateurs but have great assets in terms of size, power, athleticism etc
    Dubois
    Ajagba
    Sirenko
    Gorman

I’m sure there’s some others that I’ve missed but these were the best straight from memory.

Dubois looks the part so far but he’s yet to move through the levels, at 20yrs old he could be anything at the moment

I really like the look of Ajagba, his right is in the Wilder League in terms of power but he also hits hard with his left. He has better boxing skills than most, judges distance well, variety of punches, gets in lands his shots & gets out, will go to the body which is refreshing in a HW, keeps his hands high & has good head movement. All this is on show but the caveat is that he too needs to show all this after stepping up

Arslanbek Makhmudov looks good so far. He has power and speed to his shots. I expect him to be a contender in 3 years time.

Jason Whateley is another prospect to look out for. He is good in every department and is pretty fast. I expect him to be a top 5 heavyweight in 3 years time.

Joseph Goodall is another prospect to keep an eye for but not as good as Mahumudov because of power and balance issues. But due to his technique and speed I expect him to be a top 20 heavyweight in 2 years time.

Teslenko, Ajagba and Joyce will make noice. Dubois is just too fcuking slow and clumsy.. oh and Gorman is tricky, I just don´t know if he´s big (tall) enough. Almost forgot: Junlong Zhang is the best 36 yo prospect I ever saw!

    A) Most likely to win a championship. Hrgovic. Big, fast hands and feet, rock solid chin, inside and outside game, good power, and he's being fast-tracked which tells you something.

    B ) Top five overall

Hrgovic - Big, fast hands and feet, rock solid chin, inside and outside game, good power, and he's being fast-tracked which tells you something.

    Usyk ( For now he's #1 ) I'm going on long-term potential, so he's #2

Makhmudov - Best heavy-handed puncher. When he hits you, you stay hurt. Big. Intimidating. Can take a punch. Skills are good. Now at an ideal weight in the 240's. Defense? Needs a little work.

Joyce - An aggressive puncher who puts pressure on his opponents, not the best on defense. A little slow handed.

Dychko - Very tall, quick to land or counter. Lack of power or stamina in the later rounds could be long-term problems.

    C ) Sleepers

Bakhodir Jalolov, a big man with a Wlad like right hand. Strong legs, and good speed. Toughness was an issue in the amateurs, but he was rather young then.

Joseph Goodall. Not listed, he's the best Australian heavyweight I've ever seen.

Tony Yoka - Suspended again, no one says he's not a very tall man who can box as well as anyone here. Durability will be an issue once he hits the top 30 level

Boxing needs good regional fighters too. And fans need exciting fights. Lippe Morrison fills that void.

He has his fighter's left hook, and better defense. Height and reach are a bit of a problem, he's going to need the right style to work his way in. Roach has him now, so he'll develop some.

Hope no one minds me bumping my own thread.

In light of some of the exciting action tonight, specifically, Kean losing, I thought it would be fun to edit the first post and highlight those who have lost one in yellow, so we can see the pool of blue chips thinning.

Too bad about Kean...that was a fun knockout of Braidwood. And where has Miljas, who beat Carmen gone off to?

Dubois and Milas got significant wins, although Dubois looked pretty bad to me in the process.

And if you don't mind me bumping it again with updates:

The biggest news lately is that Majidov is finally joining the pro ranks.

Anyone care to discuss the prospects further?

Trevor Bryant had a following, and a lot of guys were curious about Dragaon Zhang.
