Amir Khan getting knocked out by a columbian nobody, Gamboa getting put on his ass nearly every fight by taxi drivers and schoolteachers, Fraudley put to sleep by a blind thrown punch, Haye put on his ass by a supermiddleweight, Hasim Rahman knocked into row-z against Maskaev, Litzau starched against...well anyone, Mundine against feather fisted Ottke........


Do you people recognise OBVIOUS bad chins or are you one of the "That punch would have KO'd anyone" crew.

There are some fighters out there who have true one-punch KO power. If they are fully committed, and they load up, and they hit you flush on the chin, you go down, and stay down! Even fighters who don't have that much power can KD you, if they get you just right.

e.g. Mack v. Andrade...that Mack punch would have KDed everyone; Berrio punch v. Mack...would have led to a KO/TKO of everyone.

(Both Andrade and Mack have a very good chin. Mack has very good power. Berrio has one-punch KO power).

 

Neither.

Because according to your gang a good percentage of boxers have glass jaws. That being the case we need a new definition for the word as its no longer the extreme, but the norm. That isn't correct.

I don't know about the rest but Khan definately does have a glass chin. Watch the fight, he's first rattled by a JAB, then is ktfo. In previous fights he's been wobbled or knocked down by non-hitters as well. So it wasn't just a case of "that punch would've knocked out anybody" or whatever, although it still was a good series of punches, Khan's chin was a timebomb that began ticking as soon as he turned pro.

 

Oh, there are a lot of them here. I have had people try and argue with me that Khan, Litzau, Fraudley, Jones, etc. DO NOT have Glass Jaws.

It is amazing the lengths to which a nuthugger will go to support their hero.

There is no way you can tell me that Khan does not have a Glass Jaw.

The excuses these idiots come up with for their fighter(s) are hilarious also.

 

Yes it's my first post.. and no I dont really agree lol.. So is every fighter that gets knocked down glass jawed? And most fighters tend to say a good chin is not about whether you get put down or not, but whether you get up again. Just my 2 cents anyway
