    Rademacher is the obvious choice. After that, Jean-Pierre Coopman or Terry Daniels. The best fighter Daniels beat for a shot at the crown was probably a washed-up Manual Ramos. The best fighter Coopman beat? A washed-up Terry Daniels. :lol:

    Spinks at least beat a fighter around the Top 10 in Righetti, irrespective of how little fights he had. Another that springs to mind being hugely undeserving of a shot is Freddie Beshore.

    Really? Cooney was 25-0, & had stoppage wins over Shot Norton, Shot Lyle & Shot Young.

    His stoppage over Shot Norton was not really a legitimate stoppage as he hit Norton while down , blatantly . His win over Shot Young was only due to cuts , and regarding the Lyle fite idk , do you ?
    Cooney was total **** , either 1 of Ray Austin or Tony Thompson would have demolished him.

    If Cooney was "total ****" (he wasn't) then there isn't a word to describe how wank Austin was.

    At least Austin has a draw with Ibragimov , which is way lot more than what Cooney actually achieved.
    if
    Greatness = getting stopped quickly
    Cooney couldn't KO no1 , proof : his record . well , he could have KOd severely undersized bums .

    Don Cockell was the #2 ranked contender, so I don't think that we can rank him among the less deserving title challengers.
