Although Pac is very dangerous, he doesnt always fight smart. For example hell get hit with a good shot and raise his hands. Try that against PBF. I think he gets away with his speed and movement advantages. But he wont have that against PBF
i actually see pac's rhythm hurting him in a PBF flight IMO, Pac hits harder Pac has a slight edge on hand speed Pac has great use of angles Floyd is a master boxer Floyd has better ring generalship Floyd has a better boxing IQ It will/would be a tough fight for both, but I give the slight edge to PBF, like 60/40, because he is hard to hit, has a solid chin, and really out thinks his opponents. I don't think Pac will wear him down. I think Pac need to catch him with a 1 shot KO, and that will not be an easy task.
Have you considered your thread title in a different way? Maybe Floyd's hands are giving him more problems and he doesn't think he'll be able to hit Manny hard enough to discourage his aggression after seeing the hard shots Cotto landed that Pacquiao seemed to walk through. Consider how Floyd fights. He uses brilliant reflexes and defense to make his opponent miss, and then uses lightning counters to slow down their activity on his way to a decision. Find and look at that gif of Floyd schooling JMM by dodging a Marquez jab and countering with a quick right before ducking and passing a Marquez right hand (for some reason I can't upload it atm). The right hand Floyd hits JMM with isn't a hard shot. It's just an arm punch and yet, as he ducks the JMM right, Floyd appears to be shaking out his right glove as if the punch bothered him. If a relatively weak punch like that is giving Floyd problems, perhaps he is doubting if he could crack Manny hard enough to slow his output. One would expect Floyd's lead right to be a big part of his offense against Manny, and maybe Floyd doesn't trust it.
That is true. I have considered that before too. I think maybe his abilities are stronger than his hands, so he has a disadavantage that he doesn't like to bring up too often.
