Walters and Rigo - How do you know, they never thought after? Either way I think they would have bounced back just fine. Froch vs Bute, I used to think so as well but this one, nobody truly knows. Because he fought much tougher comp after Froch so it could be that he was mentally done or perhaps he just wasn't that good to begin with and couldn't really shine against better fighters.. Which way it is, who knows. You are entitled to your opinion though. Marquez vs Pac, that's simply called a learning process, if I know I can get KO'd brutally wrecklessly charging in, next fight I think maybe that's not such a good idea?
BTW: I just looked up the rankings of the LHW division at boxrec and saw Glowacki being suspended by New Jersey Athletic Control Board indefinitely as well as Wlod.
I don't really have a problem with it as long as it is self evident that it is the case. I have definitely watched fighters who took a loss hard and the spark was gone. Someone mentioned Cleverly, I think that's one I can get behind. He looked like a shell in his Bellew 2 fight and it's quite clear to see. My problem is how it's become automatically assumed, or arguing for it when the evidence is to the contrary.
i will take my irrefutable claim over your don t know my friend he's never been the same then got done with shyte in his system
you can only take the soul of someone who wasnt much good at being committed to begin with. Sure someone can suffer from a loss for a bit, but a true fighter always recovers else they are the antithesis of being fighters. Even the worst beatedowns like patterson liston, sure floyd disappeared for a long while but he came back strong.
as long as it doesnt end up in the same place. I actually watched a bit of part 5. I'll never get that 10 mnutes of life back.
Vasyl the soul bearer lomochenko Seems salido with the whyte tactics could not take Lomo whilst still set behind the ears in the paid ranks
And a lot of them could just as easily be attributed to other factors. Out of the examples in this thread, the only one I can get behind is Cleverly purely because he faced the same opponent twice and he looked FAR worse in the second fight.
Taylor was never the same after the Chavez fight Camancho wasn't the same after the Rassiaro fight. What other factors are involved other than the effects a hard fight has on a boxer?
