    1) Ali
    2) Dempsey
    3) Tyson

    It's a long ways back, but people forget that Dempsey was on a plane with Babe Ruth back then as the most popular athletes around, and unlike Ruth, Dempsey was actually known worldwide.

    How anyone could possibly put Mayweather ahead of guys like Sugar Ray Leonard, Jack Johnson or Rocky Marciano is completely beyond me.

    Tyson was the most photographed man IN THE WORLD for a period of time during his better years. No boxer has ever reached the pinnacle of infamy that Tyson was at.

    Not Ali, no one before, no one since.
