I only see Hearn and Joshua making the excuses since their first fight.

What was the excuse for Joshua losing to Ruiz? LOL He got KOd by smaller fat man who boxes better than he does (than most HW right now). If Joshua wins it's because he lands a lucky punch not because he's a better boxer PERIOD.

If AJ wins, no doubt you will see some of these excuses floating around, but there is a flip-side to this coin as well.

I don't think there will be any excuses in this fight.

If ruiz does it again AJ has no excuses he has just come up against someone he can't beat. Style's make fights.

And if ruiz loses its because AJ is a better fighter who had an off night last time round.

Both are going to give this their absolute all. No one will have cut corners, for both its the most important fight of their careers. Joshua out to prove last time was a fluke and ruiz out to prove it wasn't.

There will be no excuses needed, the best man will win.

No excuses, but if Ruiz loses, it's because Joshua actually has time to study Ruiz and have a camp to fully prepare. Since Ruiz was a late replacement, Miller made Joshua waste heaps of time prepping for him. Now that Joshua knows how Ruiz fights, I believe Joshua will get the job done.

Beat me to it. 317 pounds against Adamek. Probably less body fat % than Ruiz though.

That's because his weight gain was PED aided.

Plenty. Ruiz will be the "golden cow" if he wins. He had nothing to lose in the first fight, now he has everything to lose.

Even though I back AJ to whoop Ruiz in the rematch and put an end to all the salivating AJ haters in the USA

You cant take anything away from Ruiz in becoming the first Mexican HW champ

He made history and nothing will erase that so good for him, he made nice few million to secure his families future

AJ lost his invincibility... at least in the eyes of the public

He already lost before to Dillian Whyte so its not like he doesnt know defeat he was just on top for so long he got complacent and thats perfectly fine because he is human

Other humans do it better like Whyte and Wilder who never overlook opponents and never lose focus

Then we have Fury who just wings
It and doesnt mind if he loses or wins

Takes all sorts to make this world
