Think you're being a bit harsh on the Brits!

Nigel Benn knocking out Gerald McClennan in 1995 was a real A-grade win.

    Eubank beating Nigel Benn?

    Hamed beating Tom Johnson?

Lot of elite stuff going on in Limeyland in the 90s.

Eubank vs Benn I does seem like a pretty big omission, actually.

And your Pacquiao/Sasakul is about as big a reach as you can get.

Wouldn't make the top 100 if Paclanders could handle making any list that didn't include Manny in it somewhere

Michael Carbajal vs Jorge Arce should certainly be there, too.

Excellent list. Got me downloading some of these top fights that I missed out on.

Only ommission is Benn vs McClennan. I know you explain why that is excluded but that has to be one of the best fights of the decade. Benn really produced the goods and faught with heart. It sounds bad to say but it was Benns determination and heart that caused the damage, any normal fighter would have been out in the first. Just a shame about the outcome.

Thanks for the list. You doing other decades???

Kept expecting to see Nigel Benn vs Gerald Mclellan but it just didnt come up?

Edit - Seen the note on the fight, at least ou mentioned it but to me that was one of THE greatest fights and performance of my time, and derserves a mention, high up in my opinion. The Eubank Watson fight wouldn't come close as, although a top fight i think Watsons was the greater peformance that night, he was exceptional.

    Great effort though mate
