Good List but I put Pac-MAB 1 as the No 1. That was the most amazing win/performance, and also very unexpected. 4-1 underdog with that kind of unexpected performance?? This win for Pac should be a clear winner over Mosley-DLH. I also will rate Pac-EM 2 higher than Pac-EM 1. Pac-EM 1 was not a legit loss for Pac. There's a conspiracy there that the commission lost Pac's medical which in turn required Pac to get a Blood Drawn very close to the fight(2 days b-4 the fight) Morales beat a weakened Pac who was moving up in weight and was also handicapped by a Bad cut cause by a headbut from rd 5 which the referee called as by a punch. While Pac-EM 2 was a revenge fight and the 1st Ko loss for Morales who was at that time was thought to have a granite chin. It was competitive fight for 5 rds, then Pac turns into Pacman and swallow Morales whole. I rate Pac-DLH higher too. I dont buy the excuses. Pac was 3-1 underdog going into fight. Even after the weigh-in, Pac was still a big underdog. Donaire KO of dachinyan also will be on my top 10. Donaire was 7-1 underdog. The Ko was spectacular. Dachinyan was rated top 12 p4p that time, just fresh from annihilating the recent challengers. He even almost killed Burgos. Pacdbest was even crucified for picking Donaire that time.
Of course you don't you ****ing troll. You won't be around here after Dawson boxes circles around Pascal. That's how trolls like you operate.:deal You talk a big game and when the fighter you said was going to get knocked out doesn't but instead wins you don't have **** to say and are full of irrational excuses. That's what separates real posters from POS trolls like yourself with no credibility. Now kindly **** off Deadbanger before I get knee deep in your bitchass.:hi:
THANK YOU for the positive comments so far. There have been some valid criticisms too, cheers for all comments. I'll try to answer some direct points here: Lewis-Klitschko was stopped on the basis of a cut. Therefore in my eyes, Lewis did not win the fight, the fight was awarded to him because Klitschko suffered an injury. That may go down as a technical knockout, but it's a bit too 'technical' for my liking. As I acknowledge in my starting post, you could argue that since Lewis's punching caused the cut then it's a great win, and of course you would not be 'wrong' as such, but I disagree personally. A TKO on cuts is not a conclusive win IMO. Many people will dispute the two wins over Morales that I have ranked fairly highly (Raheem and Pac II) because the feeling is that Morales was shot. Again, that opinion is every bit as valid as my own, but all I can do is give my own opinion, and my opinion is that many people give Morales a free pass for his losses because of their affection for the great warrior. I don't, not for those two fights, which came hot on the heel of the greatest win of his career. No, most definitely not any honourable mention for Lewis-Tyson, not even close. Sorry, that fight is not even on my radar at all, I wouldn't have it in a top 200. I think the very idea that you would mention weight is utterly ridiculous. Cotto weighed 146 vs Clottey, then 145 vs Pac. 1 pound for a man like Cotto is lost going for a shite after a curry dinner. Nonsense. Pacquiao scores very high for Quality of Performance, he utterly dominated Cotto in a way no-one else has come close to doing. No, of course not. If my scoring was biased, I would have included Pacquiao vs Marquez 2 in my list, because I am a Pacquiao fan before I am a Hopkins fan, Pacquiao is my man. Many people feel Hopkins edged the Taylor and Calzaghe fights. Many people value clean, effective work over mere workrate. Margarito beat Cotto worse than Pacquiao did? Sober up. And how Miguel Cotto felt during these losses is irrelevant, the thread is called Top 50 Wins, not "Miguel Cotto's Most Unpleasant Evenings Chart". I did make my feelings on that issue known in post#1 on this thread amigo, but it's cool that you missed it as I did write far, far too much! Basically, yes, I do believe Margarito cheated that night and I'm not prepared to include it, even though it was a ****ing fantastic fight. Haye-Mormeck makes my Honourable Mentions, I think Froch was repeating the trick Pavlik done but at a worse weight for Taylor, so it doesn't make the grade IMO. I'm not very interested in the Brit Forum mate. Most of the friends I have on here (Addie, Bill Butcher, etc) are fellow Brits, but none of my favourite fighters are British and I don't have much interest in the domestic scene, so I prefer the General and Classic. Calzaghe-Jones wouldn't make my This content is protected . Get off my thread you braindead ****, this is for serious fans.
The parts I have not highlighted are fair enough, but the part in red is ludicrous. You are giving us *******s a bad name here :fire
Fantastic work, when I have more time I will look in more detail but you've clearly put a lot of work in to that. Great job :good
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221279 That was my thread on Pacquiao-Marquez 2. I scored it 114-114.
First of all, WOW! Outstanding job mate! THX for the list, was good to go through it. We had a great decade. Since I'm not humanly capable of doing such a list, allow me to add some random comments! - Raheem over Morales IMO is a highly controversial top50 pick given the circumstances (weight class, Morales at the end of the road) and makes you wonder if it's included, why not Gonzalez-Michalczewski (probably forgot about that one) - I'd include Hasegawa-Sahaprom for the BW championship - Wlad-Chagaev is very underrated and would probably make it to the 25 in my non-existent list, the no1 HW took on the no3 for the lineal and The Ring title, Chagaev was not only an unbeaten pro world champion but a two-time amateur world champion. Most important HW fight since Lewis-Tyson and an outstanding win. If not that, how about no1 HW Byrd vs. Wlad coming from the Peter win. Maybe Vitali could crack my 50 with the most outstanding comeback of the decade) - in my view Calzaghe-Kessler was one of the most outstanding fights of the entire 00s and given the circumstances, one of the most important wins (quite possibly the most important SMW fight in the history of the division, no1 vs no2, 50-50 fight, two unbeaten champs for lineal/undisputed title, super-mega event in Europe, outstanding performance), it might crack my top 10 or even top 5 Anyway, quality job sir, that's all I could throw you at in a few minutes!
