It has to do with the fact that if I think a natural junior welterweight would beat the **** out of the plodding Margarito, how much more a bigger Sergio Martinez who has obviously progressed as a fighter and just finished beating the **** out of a plodding middleweight in Kelly Pavlik.

I understand your loyalty to Margarito because he's a Mexican, but at least have a little self pride and stop clinging to the cheater like a turd on an ass.

first of all ni99a, martinez' style has not changed at all, the only thing is that now he finally got his shot....look at margo then and martinez too, both basically the same fighters just a bit bigger and martinez kind of gasses now....wtf do you think will happen if martinez gasses vs margo who attacks the body viciously, and is not just a 1 2 puncher like pavlik.........

Not sure where Margarito stands at this point and his last fight left more questions than answers but anyone thinking that there is such a huge gap in skills between the current Maravilla/Margarito as opposed to their last encounter is only fooling themselves.

As of right now I might slightly favor Martinez but I would place a considerable bet on Margarito depending on how bad the odds are against him.
