Ruiz might not hit as hard as Joshua and the back of the head punch might have messed AJ up big time

but Ruiz is a much harder man overall

    He will win any trades

AJ will be blowing by round 6/7 and Ruiz will eat his breakfast for a second time.

I've never seen AJ manage to compose a 12 round boxing job, ever.

He always ends up planting his feet like a big stiff idiot with his chin in the air like he just don't care and having trades. He can't trade it with Ruiz...

Egg chin is a big liability at HW. Just ask Fraudley Harrison.

Nah. Ruiz kicked his ass. Joshua quit because Ruiz kept beating on him.

Here we go with the “Ruiz landed a lucky punch in the 3rd round” rubbish. I don’t know how many times it has to be said, there was more to it than that. Ruiz was landing plenty in rounds one and two and it was evident he was likely to hurt AJ, he had him hurt in the 2nd round.

The fact he got knocked down and was still able to hurt AJ tells you something. There were stylistic issues here, Ruiz was faster and landed better combinations. If AJ fans think that one punch was the problem they are grasping at straws, Ruiz will land plenty in the rematch, and likely land another “lucky punch”.

He managed it against Parker. But Parker was dumb with his attacking raids - charging and swinging wildly like the only chance he had was a flash knockout. Ruiz Jr was a much more composed stalking, he was willing to feel flush shots to deliver his own which Parker wasn't.

You can see by Round 5 or 6 Ruiz has figured out the time to hit Joshua is when he has landed flush on Ruiz, as Joshua always pauses to see if he has him hurt enough to follow with a flurry. Has worked thus far for Joshua as he never met anyone willing to back their chin against his power.

It will be much harder for Joshua to decision Ruiz without getting caught in an exchange during the fight than it was Parker. Ruiz was relentlessly coming forward even in Rounds 1 and 2. I think a KO/TKO either way is by far the more likely outcome.

He did not hurt Joshua in the 2nd round LMAO and Joshua has never ever been a guy to dominate from round 1 in any of his fights at world level. It’s always tight in the start then he eventually breaks his opponent down. This was a typical Joshua fight up until he got reckless to make an explosive statement in America which he stated himself in an interview he was under pressure to do before the fight. Is Ruiz a good opponent? Yes absolutely but it took him up to round 7 to finish a guy who didn’t have a pulse after the shot that scrambled his senses.

If Joshua isn't a big puncher what does that say about Joshua's punch resistance? Packing more glass than the Louvre Pyramid.

Andy is no one punch KO guy but he throws combos and has a solid chin

Ruiz landed a perfect shot on the right area to scramble Joshua’s senses. If Ruiz has crazy power Joshua gets conclusively knocked out where he can no longer get up pretty soon after that, instead the fight goes all the way to round 7 and Joshua is stoppped on his feet.

the fight went to seven if you can't recover in that amount of time you're not going to win
