Watched the boxing and recorded this. Etim was great, as was Mills, Leben vs Munoz was fun but Leben gassed way too early. Poor Papy found out that pure trading with Alves is never a smart move.
Yeah - is it me or did Leben beg out of that fight? His corner stopped his cut with no problem so he could have gone on.
I'm a big Leben fan (was wearing a Leben shirt for the card, infact) but even I'll admit he wanted out. I was very disappointed, but that's just how it goes. Munoz wrestle****ed him, fair play. But wrestlers really are the death of MMA. No fun allowed, ever.
Yeah it wasn't like he was laying and praying on him, I just don't like Munoz and I'm a butthurt Leben fan.
The cut was a legitimate reason to stop the fight, but I do think Leben was done and was maybe looking for an out. Munoz wore him down
I thought Leben said he couldn't see out of it then the ref said if you can't see I'm going to stop it. Fair play to him finishing the round but he knew he was beat. Better to end a fight early than to end a career early.
