as long as you dont lose to bums its not an issue.

when guys like danny green spark you in 1 round it effects there legacy. when danny williams KO's you it effects your legacy. and thats why i have calzaghe ahead of the guys you mentioned.

if you go your whole career without facing anyone and retire undefeated like a paul spadafora or sven ottke fair enough have jones jnr and the rest ahead of them. but if you do face 2-3 top guys, and win, its better than a guy who has 2-3 top guys but also 2-3 bums who knocked him out in my opinion.

Yes, because you really have a lot to bring to the debate don't ya'.

I suggest not asking questions if you're goin' to worm your way out of an argument when you don't get the answer you want. You asked me where I rated Joe, I gave you some examples of guys that are at the bottom end of my top 100.

'Tyson didn't beat anyone as good as Kessler' :rofl If you admiited 'look, I don't know too much about these guys' instead of saying 'no one better than Kessler' I wouldn't make you look a right ****.

Instead, you just....say things. And then (mock childs voice) 'I don't wank over old fighters' (blows rasberry)

Even though all the guys I mentioned fought in the 80s and onwards.

    FFS!

I don't know much about those fighters.....Calzaghe is drastically under rated by yourself though. Headlight is a wonderful thing in boxing and that goes against Joe big time.

im not stopping with BB. had enough of him.

Fine, by your criteria B-Hop was a great middleweight, not light heavy :good

See how ******ed your argument is. Spinks, undefeated. Two weight World champ, moved up, without a Cruiserweight division, and beat Larry Holmes, the 48-0 HW kingpin, with all the odds stacked against him.

Also beat man mountain Gerry Cooney. Not the kinda' slouch to get blown away inside a minute or so.

Holmes, as I say, never looked that bad again. WELL PAST HIS PRIME? Did you not read my post about him picking up quality wins/hanging with the best in the next decade????

Flea on a real level do you get what I am saying about entire career counts. Getting sparked by Danny Green effects your legacy??

Nope. Hopkins was and still is a quality light heavy.

NO BECAUSE I DO KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THOSE FIGHTERS! How the **** can you tell me whether or not I'm overrating/underrating someone, when did I say he was ****? Average? I think he's f'n quality, and one of the ten best British fighters there has ever been.

HE IS NOT IN MY TOP 100. HOW IS THAT UNDERRATING HIM?!?!? You can't rate too many fighters because you know **** all, I'd be amazed if you could even name 100 world class fighters without googling it.

Right, tell me about the great Light Heavys then Rob; if B-Hop is one, you'll be able to tell me what kind of class he has forced himself into, obviously you know what a great 175lber must look like? :think

i tried to make amends with BB. sent fat boy PM's as he had an issue with me and never told me why. i get why i rub people up the wrong way but clearly had done something. sent him 3-4 pm's to try and sort it and didnt get a response. then he starts going on about how frankie gavin and arnie don't like me in the open forum. 1) as if i give a **** 2) i have pm convos with arnie all the time so i didnt like that cheap shot and now he slags of everything i say and calls me shiity slang words from general forum i dont even understand because i like floyd mayweather and stand up for him on one sided arguement. i like to play devils advocate you guys must have noticed that by now?

Yes. But only when chalking up longevity when you're comparing two close resumes.

Which is why Roy Jones will never surpass Archie Moore on my alltime list, but it doesn't mean his peak years don;t still surpass the entire careers of many other fighters, who may not have had that many damaging losses but also didn't have as many awe-inspiring wins :good

This is more like it  :good

Rob, outside of these debates that we have, I always sing your praises. I admire your enthusiasm. And we've never not got along, even when it gets heated (I apologise for swearing and using BLOCK CAPITALS)

But now's the time to swot up, you're not keeping up with the debates man.

No doubt. Now how does B-Hop tenure at 175 compare with 'The Ol' Mongoose'?
